Hi !

New minigames are being prepared, major new thing is the text that can be displayed in the world (you don't need to care about this unless you're a coder).

"Jump from box to box" by xandar
"Shoot in the right order" by Hurricaaane

(Sometimes in Garry Ware, you'll feel like "I'm putting my Brain Age skills into action")

Okay, the update went into the "Garry's Mod Beta" SVN !

Update includes :
* You now connect in the gamemode in the team menu, and not in-game.
* Awards are given in the Scoreboard about your play and the longest streak.
* If everyone wins or everyone fails, you will hear a flourish and see a message about it.
* New minigame : "Keep jumping from box to box !"
* New minigame : "Don't be on the circles !"
* New minigame : "Catch [x] melons with a cart !"
* New minigame : "Teamplay : Minesweep !" (if on a server under 14 players)
* New IQ minigame : "Shoot in the ascending/descending order !"
* New IQ minigame : "Memorize three numbers and three colors !"
* New IQ minigame : "Add numbers to get 21 !"

I'm aware about a networked variable overflow (that doesn't crash anything) on the "Don't be on the circles" game.

I'm having trouble with players connecting and not downloading the right stuff. I placed garryware inside the gamemodes folder alongside fretta. Fretta works fine and so does garryware, but when people connect, they're saying that all they're textures are purple and black. So I deleted everything that's related to garryware from my Gmod installation and I joined my server. I downloaded the map, some stuff from the materials folder, and some sounds. Yet when I joined, all my textures were purple and black and the sounds weren't working. I have an sv_downloadurl set, and I uploaded all the gamemodes to that server for fast downloading. Where did I go wrong? Also I'm running Ulx.

You don't. The only content this gamemode requires from TF2 is the sounds, if you don't have them, it won't affect your gameplay at all.
Also, Picartman, you're damn good at this, I keep getting only the second or third place because of you. :argh:

Haha.. Im getting a box in the right hand cornor of my screen telling me i need revision 837 or something. Can someone fix this? I know it has to do with files given by the SVN host. Where can i find this revision 837?

I've done the whole SVN thing WAAAY before I posted anything but it says to put it into your soucemods/garrysmod/gamemodes/ folder which i did any nothing

so I thought this might just be a typo or something so i put it into my steamapps/user_name/garrysmod/garrysmod/gamemodes/ folder and i get an error trying to run the map

and yes I know how SVN's work.

Remove this thing called a "processor" in your computer, it's something put there that was supposed to increase venting within the case, but it just causes a whole lot of bugs. It's useless.

hey dude with the newest svn today its spamming out these errors during some games
Serverside:

Well I have the files all in the right spot but when I load the map and nothing happens I am just in a map with no gamemode running.

So I played this gamemode with a few friends and they... did not like it. It's not very user-friendly and if you're not used to Wario Ware then it's a hellhole. Especially the lack of a clear goal seems to be the problem.
Especially the "Stand on a missing prop" and "Put the files in the folder" ones caused trouble.
It could also do with boss stages - those were the best part of Wario Ware, why not add them? It could work like TF2Ware did it!

All in all it's a great gamemode but it's executed a bit badly (no offence). It seems like an easy fix by simply giving better instructions and making the microgames less advanced.

The game mode works perfectly for me, but for all of my players all they see is black and purple dots, the boxes,floor and the wall etc.. it's pretty annoying for them..

Then your server isn't set up properly, now is it? Works fine for everyone else.

Installed this on my server yesterday. Damn it is fun even on your own. Though with players its even better.
