The trial against pirate bay was ended today.
The four men behind pirate bay was found guilty, and sentenced to 1 year prison and 30 millions (SEK) fine. (3,6 million USD)
The judgement will be appealed.
This trial will be used as a reference in other prosecutions

"The trial against pirate bay may need be re-done. After a perusal done by P3 News, the judge, Tomas Norström has been accused of having connections with movie and music industry lawyers in the trial. The judge is also a member in the Swedish Anti-pirate bureau. On top of that, he sit in the committe of Swedish association of industrial legal protection (an association that handles questions about patent)
The judge was also working extra in stiftelsen.se, where one of his colleagues was a lawyer for film and music companies in the trial"
Tomas himself said "I don't think I'm challengeable for being in those involvements."
