The Beatles' only legendary stuff was in the 60s.

The Beatles' only legendary stuff was in the 60s.
Turd.
They were only together in the 60s. Besides they each led good solo careers... ALL of them.
turd.
PS. What has this got to do with The White Album?
Back from the concert! :woop:

:sax:
I believe that guy is Edgar Winters

Yeah, he was awesome, they did a huge 10 minute song of his when Ringo took a break.
Ringo is awesome.
-snip-
I'm betting it was 'Frankenstein'
Haha yeah it was, someone commented on the video and said it
Yeah it was, but it was more awesome than it is in that video.
The internet cannot handle that amount of extreme keyboarding.
Edited:
I removed the tags, but your quote isn't helping.![]()
Actually it was fine til you quoted them
A norwegian misprint made the cover for Ringo Starr's single "It Don't Come Easy" say "I Don't Come Easy".
I can't stop listening to this. It isn't the actual original demo - this guy added drums, bass and a couple of guitars. The result is awesome.
That's awesome.
Is it on any album?
I know that it isn't on the studio albums, but is it on any of the other ones like Anthology?
Nope, it shocked me when I found that out too. The actual demo that the guy who made that video recorded onto was this:
Lennon gave it away to Billy J Kramer & The Dakotas who got a number one out of it:
Also, just finished watching Across The Universe.
I knew it was either going to really great, or complete shit.
I thought it was awesome, not just from a Beatles-fan perspective, but as a person with a general appreciation for film. Highly recommended. Would have liked to have seen Here Comes The Sun or The End in there, though.
Edited:
They should have worked Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band too, being as its at the time of the Vietnam war they could have found a place. I'd rather that than the Mr. Kite scene (though that was awesome - I would have put Sgt. Pepper as a priority).
I loved that movie, but it was wierd when they were signing All You Need Is Love on the rooftop instead of actual rooftop concert songs. Don't Let Me Down would've worked.
Also they didn't even add Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds until the credits.
Yeah. I was expecting The End in the credits, I even watched them all the way through hoping for it.
I get how important they are and sometimes they come on the radio and I'm like man these lyrics are pretty smart and the tune is catchy but most of the time I just don't enjoy listening to them. I guess I haven't actually heard enough of them, whatever.
the beatles have made me realize that life is given for us to experience everything :) love them love them love them!!!! :)
Edited:
i must agree sgt pepper should have been there but revolution was amazing!
holy shit i love you
lol dirty harry!! xD love the techno beatles
^ this guy did the whole Sgt. Pepper's and Revolver album like this. This is just part 1.
my top 25 favorite beatles songs!
![]()
My favorite songs change almost every day.
Right now I keep listening to All Together Now and Bad To Me.
BUT ALL OF MY PLAY COUNTS GOT RESET WHEN I SWITCHED TO WINDOWS 7!:saddowns:
Lemme guess, Bad To Me, the version posted here?
I'm not afraid to admit that I love it, despite it only being partly-Beatle
PS: One of the perks of being a Beatles fan that plays guitar: Being able to play All Together Now on the acoustic, and all your friends on the bus start singing along. And the bus driver whistled. I love Vancouver
If I started playing a Beatles song on the bus two things would happen.
1.) Someone would call it shit.
2.) They would start playing rap.
I hate my town.
Is that a hard song to learn?
Here There and Everywhere and Get Back are my 2 favourites, always have been.
shit i forgot ringo's birthday was july 7 :(
This thread deserves my 1,000th post!
Now I shall celebrate with the closet number to 1000 in a Beatles song! :toot:
(With the better version of the song of course.)
:toot::toot:
Anyone who doesn't Dumb this post doesn't live in a yellow submarine.
Heard I Need You in a coffee shop this morning. Felt good man
Edited:
Weird, I just put that song on. That version too.
Paul mccartney tonight!!!!!!
Anyone heard bout the Gaga incident?
http://blog.zap2it.com/thedishrag/20...blasphemy.html
Basically, Lady Gaga played John's piano and Beatles fans are pissed. I couldn't care less though. Sure, I hate Lady Gaga, but it's just a piano. No need to get your panties in a knot really.
Pics or it didn't happen:

Irritated Hardcore Beatles fans are the worst :argh:
Yeah. What's funny is that in a lot of cases, they miss the whole point of the Beatles anyway.
is this
better than this?

I still haven't listened to Let It Be Naked, but I've heard good things.
The cover is terrible, though.
Agree. Interesting idea, poor execution boys.
Edited:
:iiaca:
That just irritates me, not enough to get all angry about it though.
I just don't like her, and of all the pianos in the world for her to be playing, it HAS to be the piano of one one of my favorite musicians of all time.
I want to play that piano. What makes Lady Gaga so special?:saddowns:
