What makes Lady Gaga so special?:saddowns:
She's a rich musician who's almost as weird as Yoko?

Money + Avant Garde + Dumb Japanese woman who's twice as weird = Come play my dead husband's piano!

This is a Yoko page, I think. 23.

Such timeless lyrics that I believe we can all relate to.

That just irritates me, not enough to get all angry about it though.

I just don't like her, and of all the pianos in the world for her to be playing, it HAS to be the piano of one one of my favorite musicians of all time.

I want to play that piano. What makes Lady Gaga so special?:saddowns:
She actually has some pretty good piano playing skills. I'm not big on her music but she does have talent.

Yeah, I love Let It Be...Naked. I downlaoded it first (sorry D:) and it turned out I had downloaded some shitty home made version that someone had put together from various demos. Then I bought the real thing and it was totally different. It's amazing. The title track rules, has a much better guitar solo, and on For You Blue you can actually hear George's guitar (it was cut out completely on the original)

Been recording some Beatles stuff lately. Just learnt to play Norwegian Wood in a way that lets you fit the sitar part into the chord strumming. It's sweet.

The best part about listening to the Beatles is that they have done so many different kind of songs. This year you might love their newer songs on Let it Be and Abbey Road, but next year you might love all of the songs from Rubber Soul and Revolver.

And fuck, What goes on is such a great song even though it's such an overused beat.

    Oh fuck, epic question.

Probably Helter Skelter. It IS my favorite song of all time, but it's so hardcore and out there, it doesn't seem like something they'd regularly produce.

I Want You only gets to be more Beatle-like because it's got some love-esque theming. Sorta? If it only means just the words.

Helter Skelter, seeing as it was written by Lennon to show that he can write heavy songs.

    Edited:

Oh and guys I need you all to vote on the online poll to get John Lennons face on the British coin.

    The Beatles are now diamonds

But honestly, ya, it was written by McCartney. To battle "I Can See For Miles" by The Who. He wanted to make a dirty, gnarly song to compete with it, because he loved the sound.

The best part of Helter Skelter, other than the song itself of course, is:

"I'VE GOT BLISTERS ON MAH FINGAHS!"

I know I'm gonna be hated for this, but I've never really liked Helter Skelter. Chorus is cool, and ending's hilarious, but the verse has never really taken my fancy. Lyrics don't make sense and melody's relatively simple. I don't hate it, but I don't fully understand it's praise. Perhaps I just don't have a taste for heavy grungey stuff.
