For me it was Act 4, because everything looked the same, and it only had three quests.

Most act's are just plain boring in diablo 2 because of how much over played they are. You have act 1 which is easy as hell when starting a new character, then you get to the maggot lair and if you have the wrong type of character it can be annoying as hell. Then you go to the arcane sanc and can't ever find the fucking summoner on your first try (unless you are a map hack fanatic). Then you can never get a game to kill Druial because hes fucking fast and hits way to hard since you are trying to speed level.
Then you have act 3, fuck all of act 3.
Act 4 is actually kind of fun to solo, until you get to diablo and realize that you need to go find a game to kill diablo because you refuse to transfer that shitty gear from your other character.
Then when your putting some of your skills in your character you accidentally click the wrong skill. Then your fucked and have to remake your character. Then you just say fuck it and have some looser rush you.
Ok yeah there comes back the "Starting up diablo 2" memories again.
BTW. Act 5 kicked ass, I don't know if the same developers did that act as the ones that did 1-4, but act 5 is the only act I don't mind going through and doing all the quests. Well, except for the frozen tunnel shit, that's kind of annoying.

act 4 was my favorite act by far, the storyline was coming to an end and it was designed to be the act of all acts (before LOD), you gotta fight diablo himself, how badass is that?
Plus seeing tyrael in the corner resurrecting hirelings was AWESOME (he looks awesome), fighting izual was pretty intense too cause he had so much health.

the beta test is about to start.. that's 6 months of closed + open beta testing.. pretty sure that's an accurate estimate.

Yeah it's abit 2005ish, but hey, maybe it's because that we'll see so god damn many monsters at once, so your graphics card won't be raped.

Guys, unless you are playing on Hell, then just gain some levels and try again, on normal all acts are easy to clear alone, and it's more than possible to solo the game on nightmare too (it's possible on hell too).
So if you have problems with some boss, then just gain some level or try more.

The only act i dislike is Act 3. Because you have to walk through every bit of the map to find a next zone.
I can't wait for D3 either!

Act 3 is easy as hell if you know someone or have another character that has the WPs for trav and durance. But then again, I'm mostly talking about rushing. Killing the council usually gives some pretty good drops, moreso if you're a MFer.

I'm waiting for all the inevitable hammerdins and meteorbs. I don't care if they don't even have paladins or sorcs in Diablo 3, they'll find a way.

Any boss in Diablo 2 is 5 times easier if you have another person with you.

When he saw me i was running up some way, he was right behind me getting closer, then when he got up to me he stapped me in my back.

My LOD disc is scratched beyond recognition. I have my cd and key and everything so would it work with an ISO if I found one?
Note: I am not asking for the actual game, I just need the info because my disc is FUCKED.

Especially if it's the original LOD disc (with cardboard box and everything) leaving it scratched to the point of being unplayable and not repairing it is heresy to say the least.

I've heard that blizzard moved alot of employees from the starcraft team and to the diablo 3 team to get it finished faster. And that is the explenation of the rumors about diablo 3 coming out in 2009.
I don't know what to believe.
