    I got Diablo 3 the other day.

    Now, I played the "Starter" all the way up to the Skeleton King, but when I activated the full version it sent me all the way back before I entered Tristram (but I maintained my stats and equipment).

    Is it supposed to do this?

    Nope.

    Can you reselect where you were up to previously in the menu? If not, you're just gonna have to blast through it again.

    So I picked up the game two nights ago, the paragon levels and a lot of balancing is really nice. The sad part is that the pretty much mandatory build is a Critical Mass + Crit build for Wizards, I never liked using the energy twister.

    Sorry for the bump, but I just wanted to ask;
    Is this game worth it? Diablo I was my first computer game, and I LOVED Diablo II.
    Is this game in the same vein as the past 2 games, or should I skip it?

    I posted this in general in-game media, but then realised we have a D3 megathread...

    anyway, after receiving a tonne of emails from Blizzard (i assumed they were phishing scams) i tried to log into D3, it screwed up and after no time at all i got my password reset.

    i log in, and i find that some shitass gold farmer has taken over my account and leveled it to 60 leaving me with 4 million gold.

    naturally, i sold all of it for some whopping mad cash.

    i really couldn't give a flying crap about the rest of the stuff, it isn't very powerful, just based around increased gold drops...

    Does Facepunch still play Diablo 3?

    I hope this isn't a bad bump, I wasn't sure if should start a new thread. The activity suggests that Diablo died shortly after release, which surprises me.

    Blizzard reported a 65% dropoff 2 months after release, so yeah it's pretty much dead compared to before.

    Holy, I didn't think it was that bad. I mean yea I stopped playing it too but I'm getting back into it now. Despite the issue regarding the AH I'm enjoying myself at least a little.

    Battle.net forums are seeing a lot of activity so they seem to have kept a decent amount of players.
