ati HD 4870 X2 2gb
4gb (2x2gb) ram
asus p6t6 ws revolution mobo

I would uninstall them first, but what would happen if I uninstall them, and then I still have this problem?

Get Driver Sweeper, delete existing video drivers. Get CCC 9.9.

It's still doing it, and now I'm stuck without drivers.

it happens after I click next, and then install after it extracts a bunch of shit.

Edited:

got it, used this tutorial

8th: THIS PART IS VERY VITAL!!! Do NOT run the setup.exe in the C:\ATI\SUPPORT\ATI88 folder. INSTEAD Open Command Prompt, CMD.

9th: Change directory to C:\ATI\SUPPORT\ATI88\BIN:
cd c:\ATI\SUPPORT\ATI88\BIN
10th: Type to following command:
ATISetup.exe -install -output SCREEN
