Because I said it looked better that way, and did a quich photoshop to show what I meant.

I'm going to get an acoustic guitar from one of our friends company and he's selling it a bit more cheap than regular price because we know him.
I still don't know which one to get... There is Walden and Westone for acoustic guitars... Walden is more expensive, Westone is cheaper.
But anyway, from the looks of it, I like the D350 and D600, G640 the most. Just by the looks because I can't try out the guitars. But I can exchange the guitar if I don't like it as soon as I get it, though.
Im getting that and this:
Getting soon i hope. The low end on the RG is crazy. Im probably getting a Windsor cab for the 3120
Because he was trying to prove a point. Read the posts above.
There she is.
Theres ma baby, with a distinct amount of wear and tear.
Hopefully gonna get my Bro's stagg off him at some point, then i can get a new amp and decide what guitar I will fuck around with.
Should be getting one of these next week:
Got to go to work with my dad to get it though. Should be something to keep me from getting bored in the holidays though.
Free
just got my Peavey Bandit 112.
And it ROCKS!
It's truly way better than i thought, the clean channel is godlike, considering how cheap it was. 400 $ or 2000 dkr.
I have an AD-30VT and I'll tell you what; shit rocks. Fucking buy it.
Seems a good enough review :P I've had my heart set on one of these for a while.
I've got some money to buy a new bass, what do you guys think:
I'd either go for that, or a nice jazz bass like this:

Stealing isn't right :cop:
that one is fucking cool
Yeah it looks nice, I should get the chance to play it soon
Given to me
My current guitar, nothing very special about it.
My baby.
I fucking love PRS now.
Is that a CE Custom 24?
You rich bastard! I love PRS guitars for an odd reason. The headstock. Doesn't look so clunky as the Gibson one.
And guys, I got a problem playing high gain stuff. I always tend to barely rub some other string and it creates a very bad sound. How should I mute other strings, with my picking hand or fretting hand?
No, It's an SE Custom 22
It's a lower level PRS, still an amazing guitar, but it only cost me $1300 AU.
Definitely with your picking hand, doing it with your fretting hand severely hinders your manoeuvrability.
I prefer muting the strings with my fretting hand. That way I can just smack away with the picking hand.
Palm muting better, you get a far chunkier sound, and mutin with your left hand can cause harmonics.
Edited:
Anyone Got any tips for barre chords?
The intro to cemetary gates is fucking killing me.
Even if your friend steals it it is still wrong. :cop:
Watch it buddy, he moderates this section. :ninja:
The best way to play that five-string bar chord is to set down your index finger first, in a position that would result in you being able to pluck the strings and you wouldn't have any dull notes. THEN once you have that position down, you add the other fingers. Just get that muscle memory in your head and it instantly gets a fuckton easier.
Lanikai LU-21 Soprano Ukulele (w/ Binding)
I would personally go for the second one... ^
It looks nicer, probably has a nicer sound... But i don't really know much about the ukulele itself...
Just buy one; they are all pretty similar.
What do I fix to make this correct, for anyone that wants to know what it is, you'll know it the second you play it.
I played it..
I have no idea what it is.
Currently i am obsessed with playing the second solo of Comfortaby Numb with a huge amount of Reverb..
Wouldn't it just be so much easier if you just told us?
looks to me like the intro to all along the watchtower.
Well Nick i am so tempted to say the solo to Living After Midnight but i think i'm wrong
actually it's a botched attempt at the beginning solo to All Along The Watchtower... I've definitely got the timing wrong.
I don't have Guitar Pro.
I really want a precision bass, anyone here got any experience with squier?
Its fucking beautiful
As usual, here are my guitars as of now, I wish I could use a camera that's not shit.
My next guitar (when I have my own tools after my first paycheck) will be:
- Strat-style custom design
- Neck through, semi hollow sides
- Maple neck and body top, with mahogany sides/bottom, and an ebony fretboard.
- Floyd Rose tremolo
- Langcaster low-impedance pickups.
All of that crap should cost me $500 - $600 to make.
They're all nice and all, but making your own design would make your guitars less generic.
hypno-toad you should attempt to make a sharper design. Even if you don't like it so much it would be a good experiment, maybe something like this:
Though as you said it would cost $500 - $600 to make another guitar, so obviously you would make a shape that you're happy with.
