I kno rite.

Anyways, I say go for it on the 280z. Restore it, and swap in a RB25DET or RB26DETT.

(RB25DET would be the most cost-efficient choice.)

You can put twin turbos on the rb25, it's just that it's like a quarter the cost of a rb26.

Also, single turbos spool nearly as fast as twin turbo's and have a higher top end. Twin turbos are widely considered impractical. That's why when you compare the number of single turbo kits on the market to twin turbo kits, its like 10:1

Can you change the boost psi of a supercharger on the fly? No.
Do turbochargers cause a parasitic loss of horsepower? No.

All in all I would say turbochargers are much more versatile. If anything, twin-charging is the way to go.

They are definite luxury cars. They're supposed to offer that unrivaled smooth ride that Cadillac usually has.
This is what most people think of the Escalade here. The review is done by the UK equivilent of "Car and Driver". http://www.whatcar.com/car-reviews/c...ummary/25708-3 As far as the reviews on this site go, Cadillac have never made a decent car.

that is so fucking weird, it's like a 99 civic with the lights of a 99 accord

When I first saw it I thought it was an early 2000's or a late 1990's Accord. What the hell.

Yes you can, with adjustable BOVs or Waste gates in the supercharger system. and Supercharger systems are significantly cheaper than turbos, making them by far the cheapest increase in power for your money you can do to an engine.

The REAL Elanor that he was driving in "gone in 60 seconds" is still WAY more awesome then the new version.

Those aren't vents in the exhaust pipe, they are blinds. You know, for when the prissy italian engine is sleeping.

Sigh... Americans... 707ci (11.5L) Big Block anyone?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevr...fCarsQ5fTrucks

780ci (12.9L) Cobra

http://www.webwombat.com.au/motoring...bra-780cui.htm

The German tuning company has not released 0-100km/h performance numbers because apparently they are not relevant. Instead, the Weineck Cobra 780CUI will rocket from 0-200km/h in 4.9 seconds, and does the 0-300km/h dash in 10 seconds flat.

The 12.9-litre V8 engine can rev to 8000rpm, developing peak power of 809kW or 1100hp @ 7000rpm. Torque levels for the old-school engine are even more stunning - 1760Nm @ 5600rpm.

1100 hp in a 800 kg car. Pretty much sums up USA. That car won't do anything but smoke.

I must say that BMW's and especially Porsches don't impress me at all. Infact I rage a bit whenever I see a Porsche on the road, cause I imagine how much money the owner has wasted on that car.

While I agree, I'm in love with the styling of the Cayman.

It's a little less bath-tubbed than a normal porsche.

Brit car reviewers like to bash American cars mostly just because they have different style compared to international cars that and they're biased as hell. Of course left hand drive is a negative! Imo the only english reviewer who actually understands American cars is Richard Hammond, the other guys on top gear talk about american cars like they got spoons lodged in their asses.

93' Eldorado would beg to differ

Never really had any problems for the 135k miles she had. Was crushed for the cash.for.clunkers program sadly, It was going to be mine. The car was fantastic had 300 horses was incredibly smooth and still handled pretty well for a car of its size.
