The fact that I don't have it after restarting steam, means you're using PacSteam.
If you're lucky, it's some early EP3 or L4D2 alpha they're beta testing.

winui.gcf recently updated according to that time stamp. And someone said above that it was winui.gcf if they recalled correctly. So yeah.Mmk

I've also got this problem. Anyone tried the beat Steam Client Candidate? Do you still get this? Doesn't really bother me, they'll do something about it eventually. I'm just curious as to why it's actually there.

Just launch it and it will go away. You'll get an error message saying "This game is no longer free" then it will lead you to the Store homepage and it will be gone.
