Fair enough. I just don't see the trouble in either having it up or hosting it. It's weeks (perhaps) worth of coding not being put to use.

Agreed.. after all the work he put into it you just let it die like that. Population 2 is coming out, why not have Population up for grabs?
Its like a hand-me-down system, as something gets old or something better comes out, you hand it down to other people who can get better use out of it.
I loved the Beta, id love to see the final result in single player or host it myself. So i ask you, why not?

It's not up for grabs because maw doesn't want to release it. I'm not hosting because a srcds update fucked my servers and I can't find a fix so I'm going to have to wait for a update.

Alright, Well my next question would be, will it ever be released for public use? Seeing as Pop2 is coming. That shouldn't be a problem if Pop2 is better, right?

I've played better RTS games, this doesn't look nearly as good as the RTS gamemode Sassilization made.

Meh double post, but 14 hours difference.
Sorry guys who get Buffer Overflow. I cannot think of a solution other than setting myinfo_bytes to 8000.
There's not many solutions to Buffer Overflow unfortunately.
