Star trek Bridge Commander was a pretty neat game.
And with a mod for Star Trek: Elite Force you can roleplay on a map that closely resembles the interior of a ship.
Edit: I still wish perpetual didn't sell the rights to Cryptic.
Sadly that was almost a decade ago, I miss the times on Interplay.

To be fair, it isn't Cryptic's fault. They're still a good developer in my eyes. Thing is when CBS sold them the rights, they set a deadline for 2 years. That's a very small period of time to make an MMO in.
I thought Atari was giving them a 20 million bonus if they got it out in 2 years.
