I just played the new Episode mission, it was quite fun

I got like 5 lock boxes but I refuse to buy the keys to open them
Pft, I've got about 40. And I had one Gold Box that I bought a key for but all I got was A CXP boost.

Regular boxes go for 100EC apiece on the Exchange, so I just sell 'em. Also, I'm addicted to all the TOS weapons you get after "Everything Old is New".

The Bajor Social Ground Zone was on Tribble for a bit before they took it down for extended internal testing, I heard it looked nice.

I read a week or so ago that it has a Day Night cycle.

Wow, fucking love Tetryon's, first PVE event using them ever, got 100k damage with em, first place (Very Rare Tetryon Pulse Generator, makes the fuckers even more powerful) And it's amazing for my Oslo Heavy Escort, I think I found my ideal setup.

I quite like a bit of Star Trek, but judging by this thread, and the storepage, it seems quite complicated to get into? I mean, is that all explained to you kinda thing, or is it actually quite hard to grasp. Also, how big is it, filesize wise. It says 10GB on the store page, but I've learnt to not trust the store page for filesizes.

You only have to download about 4 gigs initially, the rest is streamed and stored for later usage while you play. Also it's not very difficult, everything is explained very nicely and by the time you get to level 10 (Lieutenant Commander) you'll probably have most of it figured out, and that's not very long. There is a nice and not too long tutorial mission, and after that you'll get a "quest line" that will teach you everything else you need to know.

That actually sounds pretty neat. I'll clear out some space for it soon, and get it installing tomorrow. Just wondering though, how limited are you, if you don't put any money into the game at all?

You can earn the C-Points by buying them with ingame money, so don't worry.

All in-game story content is free, the only content you pay for is super high tier ships(You don't really need them) and costumes.

Who's got a Klingon character, we should probably make the House of Newman fleet by now.

How do you level up so fast

I've been playing the same character since launch and I'm only at Captain 37 and the missions I have seem pretty hard (e.g. Satellite Repair w/ dominion attack)

You've been captain for a while Booth :P

Do the mirror event and actual story missions, not the dailies.

Hmm. I'd run out of story missions to do, but I've just unlocked the next one when I levelled up.

    Will give that a go.

The Bajor ground is tied to the foundry on tribble if you want a sneak peak, just mka ea mission, make an objective to talk to someone then select a contact from the Bajor ground area and test the mission.

It has a Day Night cycle :D a long one at that.
