I love these bosses who are just about as strong as the player him/herself. Like, they've got similiar moves, can use the same tactics and so on. Just look at the fights with Devil Hand in God Hand. (Obviously containing spoilers) Just feels much more awesome and is just plain fun, although the player in the video could have fought without these cheap tricks.
Took me forever the first time.
Animals everywhere, couldn't locate him on the sonar, and meanwhile he would shoot tranq darts at me, and whenever I found him, he'd drop a flashbang and run away fucking fast.
Second time around was easy as fuck though, don't know why. Even got his camo. Think it was the Sorrow's camo, made it easy as hell.
OR, just kill him after getting out of the caves![]()
nope nope nope
Certainly better than all the other boss battles in that game.
Reflux from Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc

The first time you battle this guy, he's like 3 times as big as you - doing all this voodoo fire magic shit and forces you over the side while hanging over lava.
Then at the end of the game you have to beat him, like, three times more before he actually goes down and in the meantime he also grows to that insane size!
An enjoyable bitch to fight at the end of the game, but such a feat once you actually manages to do it.
Only appear if certain conditions are met, chromehounds had fucking awesome multiplayer.
Definitely one of my favorite boss battles. Easily the most cinematic out of the Monster Hunter games.
What game is that from? That seems really familiar, but the name isn't coming to me.
I like most Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie bosses. They have some good music.
change the title please
most epic seems so stupid
The OP is permabanned and this thread is about 3 years old.
and mods are non-existant beings
LoZ: Twilight Princess
Boss is called Blizetta
Actually just replayed the entire game a few months back, fucking great bosses.
pretty sure this is still my favorite from that game tho, just because the pure fun riding on the spinner

Sigma from Mega Man X
The most excessively insane ridiculous massive boss fight. You are basically fighting god, and in the end you falcon punch her into the sun.
Edited:
Oh yeah and the most epic and insanely powerful final boss in fighting games.

Shin Akuma from CVS2. If you think Seth was hard in ssf4 you don't know shit. This is the most powerful form of Akuma in any of the capcom fighting games and one of his supers is basically dropping from the sky and slicing you in half with his fist and it's a 1 hit kill.
Of course, mods will change the title of a thread just because one word seems stupid to you.
Werewolf in Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines.
Quadraxis.
The theme of the battle is fucking awesome.
Gwyn the Lord of Cinder from Dark Souls. The fight is just so sad yet so intense. Especially with that soundtrack.
Fuck, that image can't describe just how many bricks I was shitting during this fight,
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
fuck you skedar king
Chirst that was a hard fight.
The first boss you face in Spyro: Year of the Dragon
Yeah he can fuck off
I disagree.
I got through it without a single hit.
It's easy:
1. Shoot rocket
2. Run to dodge attack
3. Repeat
Easy when you know you don't actually win by beating them, at the time i had no idea how to win and just run about getting demoralised when they jump right back in with full health.
BAD TO THE ASS
Also, Ripper Roo

What the hell, do they ever stop coming?
I enjoyed the bosses in Vanquish. The final boss gets a little crazy.
I was so surprised when Nines was okay despite being tackled by another werewolf before this fight. Was a real surprise going back to the hotel only to find Nines sitting next to the werewolf's mutilated head he tore off.
Wasn't really a boss fight though considering you just had to run away until the lift arrived. Still was quite intense.
Anyway, the final boss from Vampire the Masquerade: Redemption was pretty intense, but I last fought him like 11 years ago so I don't remember if the fight was tedious or not.
After you finally killed him and figure it's all done, he transforms into a giant gargoyle-like beast with even more health. He was a bastard.
Depends on which difficulty you play on.
On the easiest there's only 3 of them, on the hardest there are 25.
I gotta try that, but I fear every battle before will be harder.
The hardest bosses are Fatman, being strangled scene 1, and being strangled scene 2.
I swear to god this guy is unkillable

If you think that MGS2 strangling scenes were hard, try MGS1's torture scene.
Think its surprising nobody said fighting(spoilers for the people who didn't play that DLC) Tela Vasir.
Maybe it was awesome if you were a Vanguard, since both of you can/kept on using Charge.
