the fight against him is good too.
because spamming all your super and normal missile to a single target never felt so good.

D;
Which one, Gospel from Megaman Battle Network 2 or Super Bass from Megaman Battle Network 3? Anyways, I didn't really struggle with either them... Gospel's attacks were easy to dodge and with Super Bass I put up an aura and spammed program advances, beating him on my first try.
Check filenames bro.
Its Painkiller.
actual boss appears at 1:30 and progressively gets more insane (3 forms or something)
Afraid of Monsters DC has a really awesome boss fight. You fight yourself.
Shitty screencap:
Your evil half literally crawls out of a mirror and tries to kill you with an axe.
Albert Wesker in Resident Evil
General RAAM in Gears Of War
Darth Malak in Knights Of The Old Republic
Legate Lanius in Fallout: New Vegas
Frank Fontaine in Bioshock
Jack Of Blades in Fable
Nice three year old bump.
Fatman on European Extreme.
It's time to get back, to bombs! They never left you loon!
Well since the thread has returned and all of my big favorites have already been stated...
Tor from Iji was a pretty chill boss.
I wouldn't call it one of the most epic in gaming history, but I really loved the bosses and how they were portrayed (compared to original Greek mythology/the book) in Dante's Inferno. Especially King Minos and Cerebrus.
Edited:
There's no fucking way you didn't know this was 3 years old
how did you even find this thread
why are you using safari and windows 7
I feel like I'm losing my mind
Edited:
But in all seriousness, the end of STALKER SOC
Fuck this.
The feel when you finally murdered this shieldbelt camping whore to death and won the tournament and you heard this song
theres a long list of demons/dark souls bosses that are amazing, but the vagina dragon wins on visuals :D
never got the nickname on that one. Guess it was named by virgins who are afraid of women.
Most of the Magicka bosses
Darth Malak for KotOR:
Letho of Gulet from Witcher 2:
Have no fear, Vlad is here:
The Leviathan from Dead Space:
Every boss in God of War franchise.
Kefka is an insanely awesome villain, but my god that picture of him is the worst i have ever seen in my life.
Marauder Shields.
hitler from sniper elite V2
if only because you can shoot his nuts off with xray bullet cam
The QuinKing from Ty 3, mostly because I didn't expect it to be a goddamn T-Rex
And Overlord Zetta from post game in Disgaea 2-4

Personally, this boss battle was my favourite:
Gentlemenly clockwork owls!
And while this is playing in the background too:
Also,
Got less epic when I started using him to training my low level pokemon.
Throw more torpedoes at it!
Your test of character is only a small part of your journey through Tartarus where this guy grows to gigantic proportions and tries to eat you, fry you and throw huge friggin skulls your way. It had platforming, it had surfing, it had shooting, it had one damn atmospheric level with some very memorable sound design.
Also he's wearing the same crazy hat as the creator god of the universe and isn't afraid of anything.
Since this was bumped...
Necron from FF9 and all the bosses from the last dungeon in the game.
They all have this sureal presentation and arena, and then this asshole has Grand Crossing that inflicts a shitload of status hailments on you. Before him, you have Trance Kuja full of Flare magic and Curaga, which then blows everything up with Ultima, and before him you have his pet, Deathguise.
And before all that, you have 4 elemental bosses to kill and one optional boss.
Also, Ozma.
Fuck that thing we had like 30-40 ships shooting at it and retards kept flying into the shards so it WONT FUCKING DIE.
Thirteen'th collossus, "Phalanx"
Holy shit this battle was epic. Then again, sixteen battles in Shadow of the Colossus were epic beyond everything else.
His first battle was ridiculous, but why would you ever fight him at the end, he is by far the most interesting character, both in writing and design, in the entire game. Maybe Roche comes close but not really.
Personally I opted to fight him again because it was so damn fun. Best boss battle I had in years to be honest.
That's why he's such a cool boss, you don't have to fight him.
Also, I forgot one more boss but I don't want to spoil anything: Clayface in Arkham City.
A monstrous battle indeed, until you find out his weakness...
He is not immune to to the Paralyze status
You should have told me that 12 years ago.
this guy was the longest and most enjoyable boss battle ever.

I always loved this fight. Of course every boss battle was fucking awesome.
Also I'm just gonna include water temple as a boss its own, there is something about this temple that always fucks you up and leaves you running around forever.
But also specifically for Shadow Link fight.
some of the coolest shit ive ever witnessed, the shadow link fight wasnt necessarily super hard, but it was just incredibly badass.
