Wizey, how do you get the blur/refraction to work?
The distortion when you fire?
Mine doesn't work, and usually all the other things that use this (Most stargate things and QSD) also faail with this, they're just a big spiky blue ball.
Hopefully you'll be the first to actually answer me.

Ok. I downloaded this swep pack and installed all of the fixes, the sins pack, and worshippers css pack. I even installed the complete insurgency model pack just to be sure, but even after reinstalling multiple times, both to addons and just to my garrysmod folder, a few of the weapons are invisible or are errors. The m1014 and the m16a4 with scope are both invisible, and the aks74u is an error. All of the weapons except for the RPK, M249, and SKS have extremely fast draw animations.

Man, I'm extremely frustrated. I dl'd all the fixes, the SIN swep pack, the realistic swep pack, and I have tons of fast draw speeds, and missing models like the AKS74-U and M1014 and the M16A4 w/ Scope. Will you soon come out with a fix?

You're not the only one, i'm getting the exact same problems. The AKS-74U is an error and the scoped M16A4 are invisible

No i didnt sadly, but i just uploaded a new version, it has ALL the insurgency models, and needed materials for scopes and crap. so hopefully you can just download this one and be a happy camper.

Well, after testing them, all the models show up just fine. However, the draw animations are still insanely fast, and not to nitpick, but the AKS-74u reload sounds are a bit off. What i find odd is not all of them have quick draw animations, only most of them. Guns with normal draw animations: AKS-74u, both knives, M249, both grenades, RPK, and the SKS. All of the rest have fast draw animations. Oh, i forgot to say, the M1014 has no sounds whatsoever.

Dr. Pepper, have you tried the new update SHE released today? that fixed most of the errors that you posted. The only errors i see now are the ones that i already posted above.

the only timer errors are when you die, no big deal. Secondary weapons take SMG1 Ammo and go in slot 2, its so you can have 2 primary weapons without the bullshit of it taking up slot 1 TWICE. so to sum up, timer errors only when you die, secondary takes smg1 ammo, NON secondary takes ar2. Im at college at the moment and im kinda angry, so im sorry if i piss anyone off with this

Phew... Finally got version 4 out there.
Awesome.

EDIT: Also, you should change the loadout SEnt model to the item crate model instead of the DoD:S crate for those who don't have DoD:S.

I just got the SVD Sniper rifle working, so yes im still working on them.

PS: Turn off Motion Blur in the options menu when using scoped weapons.

Yeah, after testing both the SVD and the Enfield i can say that the scope doesn't work. I can't see through it, so all it does is block my vision, making the sniper rifle useless. Also, the M1014 still doesn't have sound for me, and after looking, it doesn't have a sound folder of its own, so it's sounds might've been left out by mistake. All of the other guns work great though and i really enjoy the m16.


Edit: after changing the map from freespace06_v2-1 to gm_construct the scope works, so its probably just a problem with freespace.

1. Question 1 and 4 are the same.
2. I dont use tab is it doesnt help me at all, it may look "Nicer" or "Tidier" but i dont really care and it doesnt help me
3. I dont know of any other way, unless theres a way to use Divide by gamemodes default walk speed.
5. I dont get any errors, Only when i die, wich i find not a problem at all. Dieing and getting errors that have NOTHING and NO Effect on the weapons arnt a problem.

At Benjamin, Download the final version, then the update.

I dont understand why people are still being wierd about this... I really dont understand. I undid ALL my addons and downloaded my 2 released ones, and they work absolutely fine... seriouslly. All the guns are there apart from the RPG-7 and the Demo Pack. Im going to reupload the WHOLE thing in a big single pack, no lua updates required, all in a singlepack, Models, Materials, Lua, And sounds, All in one. that should fix you wierdos right up

The final final version has been released, I told you... Im taking my time, so grab the newest newest version THEN come complain. if the scopes dont work, its probobly becuase your in hl2 single player... Valve kinda fucked up hte rt system there for sniper rifles. So download the new version Then start to come and rant at me, Timer errors are ONLY WHNE YOU DIE! SEIOUSLLY PEOPLE THIS ISNT APROBLEM!!! And the scopes not working, thats probly just on your part, Need to put setting in garrysmod/garrysmod

and the addons go in the same place... I tested this on its own with what it has, and it works fine.

Download the final final version, its M4 /W Sopmod in the menus, or give weapon_m4med in the console.

@ everyone else.

Settings Are NEEDED, they have the scope codes in them, so you put Addons AND settings in garrysmod/garrysmod

Sure thing, im getting them ready now, im also going to release the Flare gun i editted to WORK properly. The other flare guns just last for 5 seconds then die, mine lasts for 25 seconds then dies, Also lights up quiete a large area.

You really should have told me about your decision to combine both things into one zip and deleting the old links, because the old links were on the front page of Garrysmod.com, and you may have lost a few hundred downloads in the timespan that it was inaccessible.

Sorry D:, I really dont mind download counts or views, i just want to fix all the bugs. Everything should be working 100% since i removed all my addons and just downloaded what i Uploaded and just used that, everything works good, Plus you need Settings. I think some people ACTUALLY deleted the settings folder XD

By the way MM3 Guy, theres a new video, so could you please replace that one aswell?

Main Instructions:

Put addons and settings in garrysmod/garrysmod, Seriouslly! its not that HARD!!!

USE + Primary = Holster
Secondary Fire = Ironsights "Like Insurgency"

Grenades:
Primary = Throw
Secondary = Roll
Reload During Primary Or Secondary = Cook
Dont hold it to long now.

Im not one for super effects, and crap like that. If a door is locked its meant to stay that way, Im not really a rp fan, so... You could probobly figure it out yourself.

I've been playing about with these, and I've noticed that the initial draw on rifles runs the animations at twice the speed as the sound, so the gun looks ready to fire before it actually is.
Also, the weapons don't take into account that the player might be dead, so you get spammed with errors if you're holding one when you die.
Timer Error: weapons/weapon_fnfal/shared.lua:164: attempt to call method 'IdleAnimation' (a nil value)

Also the toz hangs on the reload animation until you hit primary fire.
