They kinda had it coming with all the cocktease last year to power the hype machine, especially with the announcement of the release date which led to fucking chaos today.

I think I'm a bit over angry. Granted, release dates are never really accurate... but delaying a mod because a download link was leaked is just stupid.

It's not like delaying a HL1 mod is going to be a life lesson to the assholes who linked it, it just hurts the innocent people waiting.

EDIT: Speaking of the delay, is there any official word on that?

As much work as they put into it, and as much as I respect them for doing so, it's still pretty ridiculously naive of them if they actually do delay it because they were also naive enough to think that releasing the mod to only a specific group of random people on the same day they said they'd release it to everyone wouldn't result in it being leaked within seconds.
