First off, sorry if this is in the wrong section, they didn't really have a section for 'sculptures'.

It's loosely based off an english longsword and is slightly larger at 120cm

I'll be glad is some of you can give me some ideas how to finish it off. I still have no idea how to attach a guard on it.

I need ideas on what to add design wise, what kind of cross-section i should etch into it, and if it would be cool if i wrote runes into it, following the tolkien elven alphabet or somthing.

Also, have any of you guys made and awesomely badass swords? Metal or Wood. No plastic fags, plastic has no soul.
