Because it's not dual channel. Don't ask me how or why... but it doesn't work when I put it in dual channel, at least I think. Now that you mention it, I probably should try it. Although I seem to remember it not working, I'll give it a shot anywho.
Also, this computer WAS an iBuypower prebuilt. Since then, I've rebuilt the thing from top to bottom. So in a sense I built it with a case sent via iBuypower. That's part of the reason it's for sale. I want to actually 100% build my own PC. It runs great and everything... I just want a new one :D

Also, it LOOKS like a prebuilt still because that case doesn't have any cable management capability aside from empty drive bays. Yuck.

My fried desktop, currently being used as a stand for my Xbox, since I can't pick up LIVE in my room unless it's elevated. Still got a Wireless-G router from about 2002.
Shitty laptop that doesn't even work half the time.
And my parents STILL won't let me build a computer.

Not anymore, Me and my girlfriend played the new L4D campaign last night but besides that I haven't touched a game in about two weeks, and that was just a LAN game of Age of Empires III with the girlfriend. I'm to much engrossed into my 3D work that games just don't satisfy my time anymore. My next computer will be a workstation, I'm keeping my eyes out for a Quadro FX4800 that is reasonable.
I've found that making money is just so much more enjoyable than playing games, it's nice to love what you do.

The last bit I agree with, but I just don't see how it can be fun making 3D models, but maybe that's because I suck really really bad at 3D modelling.
