Troubleshooting

PLEASE READ THIS posted:
We used to have a script (courtesy of 1/4Life) to automatically refresh our spawnlists. However, a certain Garrysmod update stopped that from being possible. So, whenever you update SBEP, I would recommend you update your spawnlists by going into the garrysmod/settings/spawnlist folder and deleting the contents. They will then be recached next time you start a game. This is especially worth doing at the moment, whilst I am updating lots of part names, making the old spawnlists redundant. -- Hysteria
Also, you may find old dupes no longer work after recent updates, due to the model name changes. FishFace60 has written a script which can fix your dupes for you. Just type SBEP_FixAllDupes into the console.

Top left-Submachine gun, slightly inaccurate, high rate of fire
Middle left-Machine pistol 1-high rate of fire, low power, inaccurate
Bottom left-Machine pistol 2-same as above
Top right-LMG-Moderately accurate, high power, loads of ammo, high rate of fire
Bottom right-Assault rifle-accurate, higher power than submachine gun, slower rate of fire than submachine gun

I could do that but then it would no longer be a link. Internal noparsing within url tags has no impact.
It's a choose-your-poison situation.

I finaly worked my hidden Homing Missle pods into a station.

The iris doors on the sides conseal 5 missle pods each.

All weapons functions are controlled from the assault deck.

The LMG could have a different stock...this one reminds me of the Dragunov too much...maybe if the holes in the stock had different shapes or something...

Edit: Maybe if you tried to rework it altogether...I like all the other ones, but the LMG looks like a Garand rifle with a small scope, Dragunov stock and a double C-mag. I'd try a different body approach. Also, maybe you could add a bipod. Looks more machinegunny...

Suggestion: try to wire them so that the doors are closed while the pods are reloading. This way if the enemy wants to precision-shoot the pods, he'll have to risk being hit in the process. This:
*door opens
*pods fire
*door closes and cannot be opened manually until the pods can fire again

It's only SmallBridge at the moment; it has to have parts added to it for it to work. I've added all the SmallBridge parts, but I'm leaving it to Cerus and Slyfo at the moment to do theirs.

I added two more videos to the original post to show off some of the SBEP to users who are new to the project.

Note to community members: I am always looking out for Youtube videos of people enjoying their SBEP experience; I enjoy seeing that people are having fun with the SBEP. :D
If you make a video showing off the SBEP there is always a chance that it might get featured in the original post if it's of sufficient quality and quantity (length).

I would like to request that there be no voice-overs and a limited number of sound effects for me to consider adding them to the original post.

Just been trying out the Goldfish, and this leads me to request a tactical nuke. The Goldfish is waaay overpowered. I planted one in my planetary resource gathering station to see what it would do. The main body of the station was completely obliterated and my resource storage was flung all over the system (wich looked pretty epic, by the way - first came the blast wave, a second later a wave of gas tanks venting like crazy). Back on topic, we need a nuke that is kinda less powerful, and definitely has lower range (this one unwelded my ship, and that was half a map away!!!).

It's a good point, although you have to remember I never made the old-school nuke, so I wouldn't be able to make a half-sized explosion anywhere near as good. Still, I'm up for giving it a try.

In the download i only can found 3 tools (lift tool, settings tool and skin switcher tool). Where are the other? like the "welder" tool for sbep?

The new tools such as the Part Assembler are not yet available on the public SVN. They are being worked on and we are nearing their release. I will clearly mark that video as an 'upcoming feature demonstration'. I apologize if there was confusion.

I'm kind of a wiremod noob. I don't know anything about expression gates or any of that mumbo jumbo. If I'm just hoping that enemys will try not to get in front of the pods for fear of 'sploding. For the moment, this station would easily fend off any small or med bridge ship, but I realy don't stand a chance in "Mcbuilds" server where donators and admins get rediculous shielding. (and ships that look like Mothera)

I'm not saying it'll utterly destroy all opposing ships. But it will cripple most anything made from SBEP parts. Also yes, it has more than 2 pods.

I once tested it out on one of my larger smallbridge ships. It didn't take long before the gyropod was destroyed an it went plummeting.

Playing about with Blender for a while yielding the following render. It obviously has a lot of work to be done yet, and I'm not too keen on the size of the base relative to the 'prongs' (which I intend, eventually, to have rotating around some suitably mysterious looking glowing ball), but I'd be interested to see what you all think. Constructive criticism is, of course, welcome; this is my first real model after all.

what you mean by functional? for now its just corridors, but i'm planning to add interior props and wire shit

turrets will be automated (and planet blasters will be mouse controlled), then things like docking bays
but no life support and any kind of energy using, i hate it lol

I mean how well designed it is for actually putting the needed things in, having rooms and stuff... though if you aren't using life support (?) you shouldn't have problems.
