What's the difference? I heard BoS makes drugs and other stuff while EC is just an all-around mega-corp?

Different members different leaders. EC gets a huge production discount which can come in handy. BoS are the only ones who can make drugs and BoS and EC can both make illegal grenades.

Does VI do anything at all or just sit around and make medkits?

GoM makes medkits, VI makes DOAs and Orbits which are extremely good markets.
VI's numbers was severely reduced after the last war, at a time they only had 15 members.

I can basically own anyone in a 1on1 duel in FoM, except for Link, but he's a hobo.
And EC still zerged us with numbers of 4 to 1 on NF, you won by numbers (and the hilarious money you've gotten so much).
I'd rather play the underdog then easymode trough a game, like you. :smug:

Yeh it quite good, me and some brotherhood guys just did a raid on a LED controlled area and we owned them until about 10 came out of nowhere and rushed us.

Haha Gunba got banned for hacking on the integrity check. He is changing ISPs just so he can play again.

I love the Mercs that aren't against us BoS. Then again, it's not like they have something personal against us, it's just a contract, but still. They're annoying.

Built are all hackers. Gunba gave his hacks out to them.
Also we are getting pure raped on P51, they out number us like 6:1. They have like 90 people on. We have 10 EC, and 5 mercs.
But we did take it back for about 10 minutes, to then lose it again.

Damn this game is more fun than I thought. First started as an LED, got great help by a FDC soldier (He was explaining the basics to another FDC member, but I could listen in).
Then tried to take over NYC with a group of about 15-20 LED members for a while.
Deleted my character though, BoS seems more like my type of group, so gonna start a BoS character.
Also, is subscribing really worth it? Not going to just yet, as i've only started today, but man, what a start. Especially for a MMO.

I'm intrigued by this game, hell I'll give it a shot. FDC and LED suck major balls, that much I've derived, so when i start out (since it's still downloading) Which faction should i choose?

Probably GoM until you understand how to play, then make your decision then. Just remember this game gets boring if all you do is produce/make stuff, get involved and fight.

BoS is fucking boring as hell to play right now, nothing is going on.
Well.. actually a bunch of noob LED tried zerg rushing Ceres Delta and got killed by eight BoS, but besides that, nothing is happening and it's boring.
Also no one is making groups so it's impossible to do anything organized.

I would say help the EC a little more, but now there is a cease fire. I wonder if LED will honor is this time.

The FDC aren't that bad at heart. Our only real bad members are the rank 0 (trainee) who have no clue how to play and what to do. We are often a scape goat on everything do to a few reasons: We being allied with LED, owning a space ship to rearm and drop in, in mass, and finally when we own any piece of non Earth land.
We have our major positives though. You get a usually great payout in the FDC and we have great numbers which turn the tide in battle. We also have GM made events on a place called Necars field where gas leaks are created making illusions that we are being attacked by monsters. Having a police ally also helps alot back on Earth cities where we can't have a constant presence. Overall if you like shooting things, plenty of people to have fun with on Ventrillo, stun tournaments (monthly usually), and perhaps have a fetish for green then we are the place for you.

"GM events"?
As far as I know rapespiders are just random bullshit grief spawns of GM's/the game itself.
They appear for 2 hours, completely take over NF and own armies of CMG, then suddenly despawn.
