Also, the game is technically still in beta, buggy as shit, and they threw it the "pay nao lolol" option waayyyyy too fast. They should've waited into the FULL RELEASE.

Erm, on my end it looks like there's been patches on the 12, 10, 8, 6 (two), 3, and on the 31st. I think you might have to actually patch to get the new patch notes (locally saved html file?)...

No need to generalize, considering the majority of the players are solely combat-based, like me. Maybe consider asking someone with weapons to help you? I'd be more than willing to protect you and stuff. And generally, the BoS tell people to GTFO a couple times before opening fire, unless there's a war going on, of course. Then it's KoS.
I don't bother with producing anything, besides trying to produce drugs. But they're only to help me in combat.

Agreed, I'm joining SARS, the homeland defense/eco department of BoS. I'm not to keen on massive combat, I'm more suited to 1v1/2v2/3v3 combat.

I uninstalled the game after playing for a few hours. There just isn't anything worthwhile.
Combat - You can play a thousand TPS and none of them will require a monthly payment, it's not like this has any advanced gameplay mechanics to make it somehow better.
Mining/Producing - Literally watching a bar and waiting, nothing interesting.
I fail to see the fun in this game, there's literally very little to do, nothing really worthwhile or entertaining. It doesn't set itself ahead of any other MMO's, and doesn't offer anything intuitive. If there are any hidden mechanics I'm missing like being a governing body or something, I stand by what I say; You shouldn't need to work at a game to make it fun, it should already be fun.
All-in-all, just a generic, boring game. I realize it's still being developed, but in its current status, it's really bland.

How is the EC? I never really see many EC players outside of NYC.. Are they Eco-based or what?
I know the BoS and EC are allied and stuff, but I haven't really taken a second look at the Euro-Core guys, so I don't know much about 'em.

Well see, we have a reputation for starting a lot of wars. Because we do.
We are a corp, but we don't act like it. We Eco and stuff, but we enjoy fighting way more.
We have a nice player group though, our R7 (reefer) is a hot headed pot head, but he is really cool.

Heh, no. I don't really play much. I was there when we defended CD and uhh, that other place, against the GD, like, four days ago.. ish. I played a bit a day ago, but there wasn't much happening.

The war is over for now, prepare for a long boring streak of nothing happening, which is why we enjoy going to war. It keeps the game fun and gives us something to do.
You should get involved more with your faction, join their vent, get to know everyone. Makes the game more fun.

Naw, I did. Last time I played I was on the vent, and I ended up running back and forth from CD to TS because everyone was too lazy to move from their camping positions.
But yeah, if your EC decides to start up another war, PM me, and I'll be there for shur.

BoS are pretty good allies with us. I kinda want to sit a war out though, for as long I have been playing FoM, I have been involved with every war.
Except the little Merc/FDC fight.
Sitting one out would give me a serious chance to make some cash.

I'm trying to learn the game. I joined the law enforcement side that is all i know at this moment. I got small objectives and all that but i don't know how to complete them. So lost lol.

Attend one of their classes and learn the game, then quit the faction once you realize how gay LED is.

The combat in this game sucks shit. The learning curve is absolutely atrocious ; unless you're a pro and can recognize an enemy from 100 meters away based solely on their armour, you're pretty much screwed.

nom pizza's and burgers, try lowering your mouse sensitivity a bit. also use decent medkits.

EC is the best.
Go into faction chat an ask an HRD member for a class. He will explain the game for you.
I suggest watching the video tutorials for an explanation of the GUI.

There's classes today. I may go to them.
I watched all the videos.
I think I'm pretty set. I have hardly any money though.
I spent all of it mining and making production components.
And I doubt anyone will even buy them on the market :l
