Get a wide monitor.
Get a wide monitor.
it is :frown:
Post your resolution.
I'll be that guy who rated you funny, now post the other tutorials, I need to learn rimlighting :(
The isolation seems like total waste of time, why not take another picture with characters separated from backround with materials?
Of course that isn't very professional because there isn't always chance to use many pictures like that.
Is anyone gonna help me with my widescreen issue?
Are you sure you set it to the right resolution in-game?
It wont let me set it to any other.
A good thread that deserves a bump. I've been meaning to pratice, but haven't had the time. Can't wait to see the next tutorials.
It's not like we all don't use the search button up there.
please continue with the tutorial
Chesty is a very busy man, leave him alone! :argh:
+ these bumps are getting annoying.
It's not so much that I'm so busy I have no time at all to update the thread... but when I only have an hour or two in the day to pursue my own outside interests, I have to make the decision: "should I edit the picture I just posed, something new and interesting to me, or should I continue making that massive thread that I'm not as excited about as I was when I first started it".
It's up to you, but I'd go for the second.
Don't want to seem greedy or anything, but I would appreciate an explosion/blood tutorial more than you'd think.
Well, I've given a blood splatter tutorial. I guess I should do a wounds tutorial too.
As for explosions, I'm really not the man for that - I suck at them myself.
Best part of this tutorial was texturing IMO.
You know I wasn't being batshit serious :/
Take your time.
I will update this tutorial very shortly, but sadly I have no idea how to do printscreen on this mac keyboard. Can anyone enlighten me?
CMD + Shift + 4
CMD + Shift + 3 is when you choose what area to screenshot
Assuming you're on a mac.
I'm not :(
I hope it's the explosion editing.
It's simple(r) stuff.
I suck at explosions. I'm gonna do some stuff with gradients and overlays and levels/curves and all that incredibly easy stuff that no one here seems to use.
I use them all the time :3:
You can skip the glow tutorial (how I did in my latest), I'll probably cover it soonish, when my bloody photoshop stops breaking my computer.
Just have a general tips thing.. Don't waste your time doing another whole section, just do Tips and tricks and stuff :)
wow this is a life saver. Thanks man.
I am new to this editting, Im having trouble with one of his steps, the Texturing one. Im at the part where he says hide the layers with the textures in them. I don't know how to do that?
Just lower the transparency of the texture layer so you can see what you're isolating.
