Gun Name: 1911 MEU (Marine Expeditionary Unit)
    Gun Brand: WE
Real Steel Gun Name: 1911 MEU
Price: 125$ At AirsoftGI includes 2 1911 MEU Magazines

    Outer Box

Outside the box you are shown a nice Digital MARPAT in desert with the companys logo and a picture of your new gun. It also includes the saying everyone loves "Don't shoot any humans or animals with this"

    Inner Box

In the box you are welcomed with a manual with chinglish the gun and a magazine or even two magazines if you do ASGI's special offer.

    The Gun

The gun it's self is full metal exluding the Pistol grip and safety. The Marine corp emblem on each side of the pistol grip is metal as well.

    Iron Sights

The gun's iron sights is just like the real steel version. It features the white dots on each point of the iron sights to allow for much easier aiming for emergency situations. I myself am able to aim much faster then without the dots.

    Takedown

This takedown guide will allow you to clean your gun.

    1. Pull Slide back to the notch

    2. Pull slide release out

    3. Slide the Slide off

    4. Push recoil peice in and turn this peice to the side

    5. Remove recoil spring, The spring guide and the other peice

    The Magazine

WE did a fantastic job with the 1911 MEU Magazines. They are a solid block of metal with very few plastic parts. These things add a huge amount of weight to the gun. Without the magazine the gun is extremely light and even though you can barely tell a bit front heavy without the magazine if you were to examine it closely. The magazine in the gun evens the weight out.

    The Magazine holds 15 rounds.

Metal Parts: The main body, The strike valve, Fill valve
Plastic parts: BB spring lever notch, BB feeding nozzle, Bottom plate

    Loading The Magazine

Loading the magazine is an easy job.

    1. Slide down the notch on the spring to the catch at the bottom

    2. Feed bb's through the hole in the side of the magazine.

    Hopup

This gun does feature an adjustable hopup. To adjust it you must take the slide off and there is a wheel. Rolling it towards the back of the gun reduces hop and foward increases hop. To be honest i see no difference between the no-hop and full hop but i've never used it past 50 feet so i can't justify it.

    Preformence

Being a full metal gun this kick is hard. Inless you do some extreme gripping on it you will have to adjust your aim every shot. Most likely if you are just a spray and pray this isn't your type of gun but the recoil doesn't throw your aim off that much for the range it's meant for.

    Test

    Distance: 35ft
    BB: TSD .23g
    Power: Green Gas
    Shots: 10

As you can see it isn't the next VSR10. The groupings arn't the best at 35' most of the shots seemed to stay together but we had 2 stray aways. You can most likely use .25's in this gun with a lower FPS to get much better results. This gun is a Great Show case and CQB Gun.

are the single stacks more gas efficient than the Hi-Capas? My Hi-Capa barely gets a full mag on a nice day.

ok thanks. that is much better compared to the 12 rounds per 30-shot mag from the hi-capas.

Are you sure you arent under-gassing your mags? My friends 5.1 can easily get through two mags on a warm day. The gas reservoirs on those mags are pretty big.

I do, I put a lot of gas in it, but it just starts to empty out because it has too much.
