Yes.
If you just had a look at the installation instructions that came with the download you
would have known that you should remove all old SCars stuff.

But somehow it creates a demon trying to get out through your arm when you shift or handbreak.

I think the demon is hell bent on going to coordinates 0,0,0

I have actually tried that already.
It was smoother and all but I experienced some problems with the steering.
Either you did not turn at all or you made a 360 turn.
But this idea is still worth a revisit though.


Managed to make a patch that should fix the invisible cars bug.
Keep in mind that you only need this patch if you got the invisible cars bug.

I'd like to say, you did a totally great job.
But there are a few things I would like to say.
-When i drive around for long, when I get out of the car I start to sorta lagwalk. My footsteps sound double and when i stop walking i go back on step.
-I think you should change the power or speed of the car somehow because a car going from 1st to 7th gear in no time is a little annoying, bcause the second i accelerate, i hit 5 gears in one second, so the car accelerates too fast. I think it should go slowly to the next gear. If you can tell me how I can make this work by tuning the car then please do, but turning down the power doesnt help, because then i just cant reach 3rd gear.
-I think you should add manual transmission, i would like to be able to switch gears by myself, it makes me have more control over the car.

that being said, it's a really good mod and you're doing a hell of a job, hoping to see a 2.1 soon!

Wow.....great job on these cars Sakarias....love every feature but I'm not quite sure how this is happening but when I get into a vehicle the playermodel that shows the animations? it dissapears this might be a bug or because i have a conflicting addon but I'm not sure...could you put some feedback on this? : *edit* I also have fixed this if you see nothing inside of the car, i pressed ctrl and it showed the anims in first person.*

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the models were included specifically for the editor.

You just have to change the models and set the positions on everything and you got a new SCar.
There is also a commented line in the tuner stool (line 174) you should uncomment if you are trying to make your own SCar.
Whenever you use the tuner stool on a SCar it will print out the local position in the console.
Getting all the positions right can be time consuming.

X = GetForward
Y = GetRight
Z = GetUp

Please note that all models won't work with the script.
It only works if the models are turned the right way.
It's hard to explain but basically the front of the car really needs to be the front of the model which is not always the case on third party models.

Sakarias, I have removed the old SCars and all the addons for SCars 1.4 and I installed SCars 2.0, but the old SCars tuner is still there in the menu. I even removed SCars 2.0 and it's still there. Any reason why? It's really bugging me. And I removed ALL of the Scars content, old and new.

It's a problem with the model. If you use the junker tire model, it'll be just fine. If you use a wheel that's pointing downward in the thumbnail, then it'll be pointing downward in the editor. To get it to work properly, you need to edit the model. Speaking of, anyone know of a free program to do that? :P
