    Yay progress! :bravo:

    A nice feature would be a built in windshield cannon, as my server doesn't seem to like Bailout Mod.

    Also, Karmah, if the V8 creators decide not to do wheel-less models, I would love you forever if you decided to take it upon yourself.

    And Sakarias, complementing my above point, WEAPONS. NOW. You got the models for it, all you need is to script it. Would :love: you forever as well. You could use mousewheel to select weapons, and M1 to fire them. Rebind hydraulics to something else I guess, but we NEED weapons. A good means of implementation, since the V8 models would probably be used, would have them be spawnable SEnts so you could place them around the map, and run them over to pick them up, ala V8.

    That is all.

    Is it possible to have the front wheels actually turn?

    Also, I'm trying to do some of the models, but cropping out the wheels is actually time consuming as I got to make sure I don't remove the undercarriage.

    Is there any car in particular you or anyone would want me fix rotation and/or separate wheels and send to you before the next release/update?

    Also I can gib the existing cars if anyone wants

    Sorry so late, Had to go out last night, rotating the body now, sorry if I seemed unreliable.

    I'm going to upload to this post 4 separate rotations of the impala and it's wheels so you can just find the one that is rotated correctly. Will be done in 15 minutes.

    I'm going to also upload the impala from it's first rotation just in case my modeling program automatically changed it's rotation or something.

    I should've worded it better. It's retarded.
    Not that this isn't a cool addon, I'm downloading it right now.

    But yeah, Using many tools to change the same entity? What the hell.
    Well, One exception might be the tuner tool, Would be kind of hard to fit all that plus the rest in one tool.
    But i'd rather have it like this: One spawn tool and one tune tool. Wheels and all that should all be in the spawn tool because, really, That doesn't take up any space at all.

    Here's a suggestion too, You know those phx race wheels. The new ones that comes in slim, wide, and in all different sizes. Use them. They don't sink into the ground and look good.


    Also, The wheels. I take it that they are making the movement. (Actually spinning or does it just apply force onto the car, anyway). A way to make them slide less would be to make them have the physprop material "jeeptire" without the quotes. If they aren't already. I don't know because i haven't tried it yet.


    Edit: Changing physical properties of the wheels work. So go into your console and type "physprop_material jeeptire" without the quotes and then take your physical properties tool (Don't change anything in it, it's not in the tool so it won't be shown in the dropdown, so don't touch it or you'll have to type it again) and then just click all four wheels.

    Also, Parenting shit to the wheels makes for sexy rims.

    Maybe look at changing the entity owner to the player who spawned it, I've tried in two (UPS and FPP) prop protection scripts and they both say they belong to the player but they can't physgun the car because apparently it belongs to the world.

    Works fine for me.
    I'm using ASS.

    Think the problem is that different prop protection software uses different techniques.
    I will have a look at UPS and FPP and see if I can make it work for those two.

    Cool addon but you use of tools is stupid.
    All of those tools you have should all be in one tool. Then you could also use that to make your own presets.
    Thought it would be easier for people to find the settings they want to change if I categorized the tools.
    Will probably make a pre-set tool that saves all the settings on the car.

    I'm working on the banshee (gtaiv), but for some reason the texture doesn't seem to work.

    Also, if there are any cars that have wheels separated but just need to be rotated, let me know, those would be so much easier to fix then to remove wheels.

    If you need the wheels removed from any other cars, just list them.

    Don't waste your time putting them into the vehicles tab if you could better spend the time fixing/improving/adding things. If people are really that lazy they don't need to use the mod.

    Since it's the weekend now, I now have some free time. I'm working on the banshee from gtaiv, but the textures are messing up so I'm going to fix that, if I can fix that then I will upload it here asap.

    Haven't tried the update in MP so there may be some bugs (probably not).

    Hmm.
    The problem is as usual that I'm almost out of keys.
    The keys I have left is suit zoom, display multiplayer score and show menu (can't use reload in vehicles for some odd reason).
    The only key that won't make a menu pop up is the suit zoom.

    Pick any car you like and do as many you like.
    There is a lot of GTA cars out there.









    If you plan on updating it like this, having an SVN version would be great.

    Don't know about that.
    I'm hoping that this update will be the final version.
    If there is a lot of bugs in the update I will probably fix SVN.

    sak, your the best. All you need to do is make a tank, and perhaps a mech suit ( i recomend the mech suit first ;D since your so good wit hthis stuff it will be pimpin) and your done for a year xD

    I want this because I use _Kilburn's TF2 gamemode (Go check it out if you own TF2, it's awesome.) and thus do not start off with a toolgun by default. Typing give gmod_toolgun every time I die gets annoying very quickly.
