Do you guys think that IW should bring back the Old School gamemode? Which would essentially make MW2 like COD4. What I mean by this is:

• Restrict killstreaks to UAV, Precison Airstrike and Attack Heli.
• Get Rid of death streaks.
• Guns have more recoil & have idle sway.
• Restrict secondary weapons unless it' a pistol.
• Bring back Overkill.

What do you guys think?

The guns all have fucked up recoil anyway, why would we want more?

If you want to have an old school mode like that, why not have a menu based on the team you get put on for your weapon? Spetsnaz get their campaign weapons and a usp secondary, us rangers get m9, TF141 get deagle/colt 1911? Make it similar to the original call of duty if you want true old school.

And for you complaining about recoil, it isn't that bad on just about every gun I've used except mp5 with fast fire and p90 with same, and the f2000, but that was just because it felt off to me. Heck doubling it would be worth it just to get the guns feeling that much more powerful.

AK-47 with double recoil = an unusable gun.

The old school sounds are in the .iwd folders so they're probably betting on that DLC.

MW2 Guns have more recoil compared to CoD4.
Mp5 is the easiest example.

Obviously, But compare the recoil of most of the guns between games. Cod4 has very little recoil on most guns.

I'd say people who don't like the MW2 gameplay should go back to COD4, but yeah, sure add it as a gamemode on the list for the ones complaining.

I want hardcore free for all though, for when I'm not playing with any friends.

I was thinking of this today I wanted to organise a private match with just those killstreaks, and restricting people to only using the weapons from CoD4, and no heartbeat sensors or FMJ or anything like that.

Told my friend and he just started going on about "most people don't have the killstreaks, or the weapons, and blah blah blah"...
