I haven't played for a couple of months, so there is a settlement next to me.

I just started playin this today, I've made a small camp but I have no fuckin idea what I'm doing, we really should make a camp together (No homo).

Gonna try this out, and making an FP settlement isn't a bad idea. If it fails, it fails. Move on.

In my opinion, there is a possibility of a FP camp actually working, but because of the harsh nature of most FPers, things tend to get a bit out of hand and chaos starts spewing out of people's mouths.
If the FP camp consisted of people who were too moral to steal and take things without permission and treehuggers who only cut down trees when needed and didn't cut down the only apple tree, just maybe.

It's been done by players who know how to play, it's been done by new players. It didn't work in either try and it won't work because it's FP. You can take the most moralfags on FP and it still won't work not because it descends into chaos, but because it just won't work. It never works and never will work.
What is with new players coming into games wanting to make things for FP? It NEVER works.

The only way a facepunch camp doesn't work is inactivity, No puts in their time to get stuff done.
Eventually you'll move onto another game while your shit decays.

Game = good.
I have a tin mine, we have a good trade partner who we trade our tin for their copper, we have a palisade and shit. Q40-50 clay. Q45 fish at worst, and we're trying to find out where the village south of us got Q30 sand(for now we have 15 x_x)

I've learned Hunting and Stone Working, planning on learning Foraging next 200 lp.

Bluh, got mauled by a bear, escaped, need leeches. My little campsite is going nicely, though.

You heal 1 HHP every day. Not sure if you have to be sleeping, most likely you don't have to.
If you're thinking of long term stay then I advise you get a claim and then a palisade up as soon as you can. A roundpole fence on your claim does prevent people without trespassing from being able to get inside (at least I think you need trespassing to open roundpole gates on claims) but it is not that effective as 20,000 LP is not a lot if you farm and hunt a bit.

But nice little village you got there. A little too small for more than two people but nothing wrong at all. Have you got any metal tools yet? A few coffers of chantrelles or linen cloth should be able to get you some metal.
