Okay, so I can fish for ql11, cook it to ql10 max though.
Also, there is a fucking bear right near our houses. No clue when it got there, I came back and it was right there, or rather I know it didn't follow me back and then it knocked me out while I was answering MSN messages standing outside the big house.
Anyway got my survival to 10, carpentry to 6 and I'm working on getting it to 10. Well I will be, eventually, when I next login and don't find a fucking bear standing over my body

I got the shit beaten out of me by a bear recently when heading towards a camp I found, I thought if I stayed down I'd leave me alone as it was just standing on my dead body for around 3 minutes.
No, it just beat the shit out of me again, so then I just clicked travel to hearth fire over and over while stunned and got away.
Standing in a swamp right now trying to get my heath back from hundreds of leeches.
I don't really understand the combat system very well.

I've read a bit about the combat system, if you have The Will to Power, you will have attacks and "moves" like I think Jump and Slide. Jump will (somehow) increase your offense by 12%, Slide will decrease your offense by 15% and increase your defense by 15%.
Having more defense means that you'll take less damage when you get hit. When you attack, the attack's power is dependant on how much of your attack gauge is filled, and it depletes the attack power completely. So you have to build offense then attack or it's useless.
Could use some explanation on that ingame though. Check their changelog forum, it has tons of useful info.

Oh I see thanks, it all makes sense now, I got my ass kicked by ants because I thought I should keep using punch, but I have to jump after I attack, I thought I was missing over and over again haha.

I have killed a Boar yesterday. I am now working on the 3rd backpack (it's for Varaz).

Also I forgot to mention before I gave the computer to someone else for like an hour, the bear has disappeared. I actually went looking to try and find out where it went, but it's not within about five minute's walk in any direction. Fucking ninja russians.
And I put a new cupboard with a heap of 10ql Brill in the big house, because I needed somewhere to put it.

We communicate by party chat for whoever's online.
In fact I keep pleating to get on IRC but not everyone feels like it :(.

Yeah but vent is so you get to know the person abit,chat while you work ingame and basically have fun.

Any idea what skills I should have to beat up a fox? after practicing on ants I tried it and it hit me 100 damage...

I am doing it by hunting - ie. walling it with 1branch campfires and shooting it with sling. So I use marksmanship.
