The truth is, you don't have to even look in this thread to decipher if the new version is out yet. Just go to www.bay12games.com/dwarves and look yourself at the most recent release. If it doesn't say September 2008, congrats, it's out. I don't know why you people find this so hard, it took me less than two seconds to type the link..

Actually, scratch that, they won't be as "massive" as many of the more famous constructs, they'll just be interesting buildings with an attention to detail whilst being fun to explore while in Adventurer Mode.

I figured it out. It turns out that I was just missing, and I didn't know. Even though I poured all my skills into bows/crossbows. Same thing for me with throwing, I can never hit anything. Ever.

So I just met a fuckawesome guard. I killed his kid, so he tries to kill me. I stab him in the arm with my spear, breaking it, and then continue to do so on his other arm. But no, pain from broken limbs do not deter this man. He fucking tears a chunk out of my head, my throat, and then my head again. In a last ditch attempt, I threw his kid's body at him, but it only bruised his spine. So, he then tears a piece of me from my head, (which I personally think was part of my brain because it said my brain failed as that happened) then I died.

Holy shit, what a badass.
