It's really hard without all the d## stuff, I had trouble with the grid so I'm stuck at default tiny size and the default tileset. Hope it gets done soon.

I discovered a huge cavern with tons of mushroom and web, I am walling off a section of cavern for farming because it is covered in mud. I've had to re route my mining expedition around a lake and the cavern. This is fucking awesome.

Yeah, you have to irrigate. Just like in the old version except now it's not stone only.

If you want easy farming, dig into a cavern, seal a part off. The caverns are full of mud.

Jesus, I didn't think this game could get any harder, I was wrong.

I was forced underground by a giant Eagle, I discovered a muddy cavern and moved all of my supplies down there to start a new life. My dwarves were then mobbed by crundle (crundles?) and were all killed. It's dangerous underground.

How do I pierce aquifers to get to the layers below 'em ?
I've got one on my current Tundra embark and it kinda pisses me off since I don't have any building material at all besides the wood I brought along with me.
Also, the ocean is frozen.Can I somehow melt the ice ?
I thought about creating a "pipeline" surrounding the way I want the water to flow so that it doesn't freeze again.
