That Kill The Noise remix came out on OWSLA too, so I kinda thought the style was fitting for it
Dubstep isn't based on DnB Its called Dubstep for a reason. Its all about Deep Subs and rhythm! lately its been more about wobbles and filthy high pitched noises but it started with lots of sub!
What's irritating me is that I want to learn the piano parts from Blackmill's songs, but there are no cover sheets that I am aware of...
Edited:
Which means I need to find the chords for myself and that can take ages. :(
Try to contact him?
Remix of the new Modestep song, can't wait for the original.
Just heard this on BBC Radio 1:
Edited:
I will, once I get time to sit down with it, which is next week when I have autumn break. :)
Beautiful.
here's my new remix.
it's not very original
Heard Feed Me announce quite some time ago that he was working on a tune with James Smith (lead singer of Hadouken)... I was hyped when I found this out, and the hype definitely wasn't let down...
"OMG BROSTEP" fuck off- Feed Me is a god
Just finished a new tune... let me know what you think! hope you enjoy it.
Holy shit, why was I not informed. Love Feed Me and Hadouken.
Edited:
That song in 320kbps with decent speakers is amazing.
That tune is awesome.
I generally avoid Radio 1, but if their starting to play things like Fabrication rather than most commercial dubstep and drum and bass, might start tuning in
They mostly play the good stuff at night though.
Edited:
Around this time and outwards actually.
MistaJam's show is the only one worth listening to.
Skream & Benga's is good for dubstep too. And Annie Mac plays quite a lot of it too.
There's plenty of other great dance music shows on Radio 1, but those are the main ones that play dubstep.
Didn't know they had a show. When is it?
Radio 1's In New DJs We Trust, every thursday night they have one of 5 DJs in at 9pm for an hour, Benga & Skream are part of the group, but there shows are only like once a month. Check out here for more info & listen back etc etc http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/innewdjswetrust/profile/
here's my latest creation
Second Thursday of every month, 9pm-10pm
INDIA REPRESENT.
That was different, but really refreshing!
aand this just showed on my TV WTF
www.youtube.com/watch=2YpOw8o34BM
Bet you can't find the song in google
Edited:
Anyone else think Yonkers could make a good dubstep remix?
Gramatik
Liquify
Defying Gravity
Good stuff.
Any news on this? Heard Skream & Benga play it a few months ago, so good.
What the actual fuck
Why is it good!?
Trying to find a song, when it drops it sounds like a jaguar which then turns into wobbles n shit. The picture is a speedometer for some reason. I can't find for the life of me. Also:
You're in luck, because that is one of my favourite songs. :)
Zomboy, the best brostep anywhere.
I found him out through this. It isn't dubstep, but sounds great nonetheless
He remixed an Ellie Goulding song.
Finally, one that isn't either Lights or Starry Eyed. It's pretty cool of him to remix this song, it sounds fucking excellent!
Edited:
First Ellie Goulding Dubstep I ever heard.
She really has been dubstepped to fuck![]()
I'm ok with that, slow paced and beautiful songs make great dubstep remixes.
thanks that's exactly what i was looking for
