Saw Dub Police (Caspa, Emalkay, Skream) at Fabric last night

Bass so strong it shook your face and hair

Beats so raw it practically went tribal

The best designed/laid out club I've ever been to, never more than 5 mins to get to the bars and not feeling like you're being ripped off every second

and not finishing until 6am, getting one of the first tubes back? Siiiick

It takes time for scenes to build up momentum and up until lately there wasn't really anyone running close enough to the mainstream; I think the movement of pop acts towards more electronic music has allowed a segway in to the market through remixes

I really can't bring myself to love Dubstep. I fucking Love DnB. But I don't really like dubstep that much. IT'S TOO FUCKING SLOW! Some songs are okay but that's about it. Also, DnB artists putting dubstep in their music is getting annoying.

I really really hate dubstep. A bunch of twats were dicking around in their garage and were like "Hmmm, what will happen if I take this dnb and bring it from 190bpm to 140bpm?"

It is just boring as fuck to me; nothing beats some Prodigy, Crystal Method, or Pendulum.
By the way, Pendulum uses Dubstep.

When I saw Prodigy live they dropped a dubstep mix into their set; it was the first time I really heard and enjoyed dubstep and I've chased the biggest sub-for-dub-in-sick-clubs ever since

Likewise here, including the i remember remix, machine gun, etc... and you're right, remixes do seem to be the hot ticket.

here's some more fatty wobbles for you all to enjoy:

    first some more nit grit...
    NiT GriT - Promo Mix:
    http://soundcloud.com/nit-grit/nit-grit-promo-mix-2010

Kate Bush - Running Up that Hill (Bassnectar Remix):
    http://soundcloud.com/jedeye/kate-bu...-jedeye-re-dub

    Deadmau5 - Dub5tepThingie3:

DangerMous3 - A Dubstep Oddyssey (Rusko, Bassnectar, Caspa Remix):
    http://soundcloud.com/dangermous3/20...-odyssey-final

the last song, albeit extremely long, is primarily composed of very good dubstep.

Pendulum is more electronic than drum and bass nowadays. The Island / Witchcraft sound like rubbish.

Emalkay is your "introductory" artist to dubstep.
Excision hits hard, as does Joker and Skream.
Taxman / Original Sin may sound dubsteppy, moreso Taxman with his drumstep track "Harry's Revenge". (Note: Taxman and Original Sin are brothers).
Some of DJ Fresh's new tunes (Fight!, Lazer Squad) are dubsteppy, but kinda cheesy.

yeah I'm getting tired of all these dnb acts making one dubstep track

they're usually good, but it's just a bandwagon thing with them

If you haven't been to a proper dubstep night*, that starts at 11pm and ends at (at least) 6am, where the dancing degenerates into mosh-pits and most of the people left are off their face, you shouldn't talk about dubstep.

*Must be somewhere in the UK.

Love how all these people talk about shit about drum and bass and dubstep and yet they have never even heard it on a decent soundsystem.

uhh huu, you shouldn't need to go to a dubstep night or listen to it on a club sound system to criticize or be a fan of dubstep or any genre for that matter

Also anyone with taste should check out UKFDubstep.

Could anyone suggest me any dubstep artists/groups besides Ganja White Night who are more into the reggae part than the filthy wobble/hard bass? Chill dubstep in general. Something like this:
