Where do i apply for officer, here?

I got the demo and didn't realize it was an MMO until I got in the first public room.

Previous AvA experience?: I was in MC alliance before, fought few AvA battles.
Why do you want to be an officer?: I have a great deal of experience especially with Recon class, i want to help new players and help to establish AvA in out Alliance.

Yeah, sitting on a place getting your scores up is the way to go to help the team. In other words, Meleecon ftw. ( Unless you are in PvE)
I even get better scores with a bombercon than the other snipercons.
Not saying that the snipercon sucks, it's just that you are judging meleecons because 75% don't know how to play one. There are some good meleecons, gothofury for example, if you look up on youtube.

I have slaughtered so many meleecons, and i've only seen one maybe two good ones and if you think that getting rid of enemy turrets doesn't help the team then you can go fuck yourself.

EDIT: Since snipercons have higher damage output AND they can stay out of turrets reach they are much better at taking them out and all things like Turrets, other snipercons, medstations, beacons, assaults that just sit there and shoot.

I've been changing back and forth. I'm sniper right now, and it seems to help the team more with turrets and snipers and everything else. Also, I'm level 14 on my Recon now, so one more level and I've maxed it for the demo. I need to get $40 somehow. By time I do, I'll probably have a level 15 everything. I've got Robotics and Recon almost done.

It seems like it would be fun to be a meleecon, but I can only use 4 skill points until I can buy the game.

Remember though how durable assaults are without any bonus from armor they have 34% resistance to range damage in the tank tree. Along with having 3500hp. Even without a medic thats 5 shots to kill with the ballista's protection reduction.
You also need to remember how limited turrets FOV are, very easy to get behind.
Meleecons and bombcons are quite good in AvA.

That guy actually aren't very good at all, he would've died 100 times of not their medic.
Sniper could've done the same job more efficent.

He's damned effective, though. I'm not normally a fan of meleecons, but if anyone could pull that off, I'd be proud to have him on my strike force.
Anyway, slowly making progress with all this shit. Suicide is now my recon officer. I still need three more (assault, medic, robotics) so if you'd like to, go ahead and fill out that app form and post it in here.

The meleecon has a different purpose then the snipercon, snipercon just kills stuff. The meleecons make your teammates not die, they distract multiple people and think about it; a couple people chasing after a single person with melee weapons are easy kills for teammates. KDR doesn't matter in Global Agenda, map control wins the game; preventing others from having it helps your team just as much. I want to see a snipercon that effective at close range combat.

Did i ever say anything about KDR? Snipercons doesn't HAVE to be good at close range (even thou i slaughtered many meleecons at meleerange with my [ddrddd] Ballista) they can do the same job and better from farther away. While Meleecon can only do stuff at melee range Snipers are good at anything from 10 feet to as far as they can see.
It's the Snipers who control the map, they're even better at area denials than sentries, since they can wtfpwn anything that isn't an Assault in 2-3 shots at any range. That includes Beacons and Turrets in hard to reach places.

Yeah, Snipercons do the job when taking out Turrets and anything else like that. And they're still effective against other players too. Meleecons are good against them too, but only if they can get to the turret itself.

The Facepunch agency is no more.
Due to the name Facepunch having a somewhat ill history with certain MMOs, we have since changed the name to something that I believe is much, much better.

This is one of the MMOs I am going to try after I get bored of my current one. How comparable is it to other MMOs? Are there places where you get a group of people to go through it, sorta like an instance/dungeon from most other MMOs?

Global Agenda is not really an MMO in standard way, it's more of TPS with some MMO influences.
All of PvE are instances. Next patch should bring in other forms of PvE but for now there is only "instances".

Nothing's dead now, and I've just finished finals week so I can commit to GA full-force.

There isn't a monthly fee unless you want to pay for its perks. If you pay it you get access to AvA after Sandstorm finishes and a higher cap for Conquest and Mercenary tokens. You also get more content, more frequently.

Eh. It's great seeing as how it'll be "no subscriptions boo thos r gay," but I honestly lost interest. The combat was never very fluid. It was just "whoever shoots first wins (unless it's a snipercon, in which case, you're dead 100% of the time)," and "oh did i mention that everything can absorb hundreds of bullets, regardless of class or spec, except you?"
Were you even there for the naming thing? No?
Actually, I logged on yesterday and the only members were literally me and Systematik. If I decide to get back into it, we all should probably think of a better name.
Oh man, I just felt the first wave of "pre-'non-subscription' veteran player" elitism. This isn't going to be fun.
