How "pay to win" is this game? I'm thinking of trying it.
That's provided you bought so called Elite Agent, which is a small one-time fee.
On a purely free account you are pretty limited but if you make the one time purchase you are just as even as everyone else.
Then it becomes time investment.
New zone is interesting.
Hey, im the leader of a PvP and AvA focused Agency, we have a ventrillo. We are looking for some new members that want to do PvP and AvA.
Also i have a boatload of credits - would anyone be interested in buying them?
Doing a raid.
I decided to try this but it just crashes goddamn constantly at random parts and right now I can't get to the Sonoran desert without it crashing at the loading screen.
So far the optimization with this game seems horrible. You'd think after being out this long, it wouldn't be this crappy.
Someone give me curly sue
and when I say like Minecraft, I mean it. 64x64 textures, no texture filtering, low poly models.
Got my first level 50 today, and a crescent jetpack!
Is it just me, or does this game have insanely long load times.
Silly dome guard, you aren't spiderman. Get down from there!
What is the quickest way of getting simple power cells, because the queue for the Security missions take forever to get a balanced group.
I need to get around to farming metal scraps and such.
Free 10 day booster for first person to PM me.

Code given to Krail9 enjoy!
Since Krail does not want the code I have decided to dump it here! first come first serve. This thread gets low traffic so hopefully someone that will use it gets it.
I'm surprised there's no Tribes: Ascend thread, specially since it's basically Global Agenda with 100+ players on the map and vehicles.
I made Tribes Universe thread a year ago, when I first applied to the Beta/Alpha but they changed the name since then.
I'm not really feeling this game. The combat is a little dull by FPS standards, and the MMORPG elements seem threadbare.
I've yet to see a more beautifully executed teamwork in any other game than I've seen in Global Agenda (might have something to do with GA being the only multiplayer game I ever played at "pro" level).
Enemy warehouse, protected by several Assault/Medic couples and Robos with Gauss Platforms.
As soon as the spawn shield disappears, our strike force splits into 4 predefined Assault/Medic pairs, each flying towards their own point of entry, juking enemy fire.
Our Recon quickly puts a Scorpia debuff on every Assault, making their Medics waste their power and drops a bomb at their Robo nests.
Our own Robo, sitting inside our freshly built Vindicator, smashes their platform nest to pieces, killing Robos or forcing them to retreat.
Assaults, backed up my Medics and the Vindicator, easily decimate everything inside the warehouse.
Half of the Strike Force starts to capture the point while other half scouts next 2 points for easier target.
It's even more beautiful when you're the one giving orders to them.
Edit: That's a real story by the way, I was the once in charge that match.
Unlike pre 30lvl games, everything went much faster, it required you to be constaintly moving, so, for example a sentry would only last <10 seconds before it got destroyed (when placed in an effective position)
Haven't tried AvA yet, just haven't found an agency.
No proper AvA agency will let you in until you're lvl 50 with at least all Epic gear.
Your best bet start looking for new inexperienced AvA agencies, that way you'll at least get some AvA action, or you could try impressing someone in Merc. Latter is how I got in a former Top 10 EU agency.
Edit: If you see an agency looking for agents in Global Chat, that is your best bet, contact them at once.
Yeah and try to play within your timezone, as over the holidays I used to play around 1am till about 3am and now I'm in some American AVA agency (which I can't really participate in )
NA AvA is a joke in some senses that it is dominated by Aimbot agencies.
I'm sorry Hi-Rez, not after that horrible "rebalance" patch. Now hurry up with Tribes: Ascent please.
