I bought the wrong length barrel (several inches too small), and now I have no use for it. I can't return it, because my friend made the order (several people bought smaller things as one large purchase so there was no shipping) and I highly doubt that we could get it worked out in time (it took his dad like a week and a half to confirm the order. :| )

I guess I'll try to sell it to local people or my friends :(

The JG one isn't so bad. It's weaker but it comes with a hi-cap. And it's half the price.

Not to mention Tactical Trunk Monkey still has about 31 refurbished JG SIG 552's in stock for about $50 a piece with $10 shipping.

One of my friends has a JG 552 and it seems like a pretty good gun.

Going out tonight to do a bit of recon with the team. We have some urban structures we can go to. One of those structures is a 4 million dollar beach home. Oh yeah..

We so far plan a team buy of 4 tri-shot shotguns,
2 p90's
4 mp5's
Then we will subtract guns or add them for custom buys from each member or whatever.
I am planning ~160$ per person buy for mags,ammo and gun each as we split the costs.
It's either mp5's or ak's but no one but me and my friend james really likes AK's so I picked some cheaper weapons.
We are planning ASGI for this purchase but I was thinking maybe swich to RSOV but I don't have a paypal so idk.

You can create a paypal easily and have people deposit in the money, so it's easy to keep track of. It sounds like a complicated setup that you have though. But I guess it's fair since everyone is getting a weapon.

Hardly complicated, I plan to have weapons on a first come first server basis, they get a list and write their name near the gun they want or write a name of a gun they want and a price range w/ their name, I get them a price and they pay for that gun or pay the fee for the split.
I am paying about 400$ for my purchase plus the 160$ for the fee and I will prob. add another 100$ to that.

I say let everyone decide on their own guns, especially for a start up team. On my team we have AUG's, AK's, M4's, G36's, M14's, tri shot shotguns, BAR 10's and probably some others I'm forgetting.

If everyone on the team has the same gun, they should be using similar gear too, it looks that much better. But when you start going into this path it gets expensive, and not everyone will be happy (unless they all like M4's or something).

Yea that's why we are going to have a discussion on that option once we get it all together.
It was just an idea a friend springed around to me and it stuck a bit, however I do plan to charge each one a cut for ammo, buying the 24 bag package and then splitting it up per person with 2 bags each, leaving 6 for me because I am prob. the only one who will keep track of it and will have to give people ammo a lot anyway.
Plus I am very good at stockpiling crap so that will be a huge plus, I sure as hell want them to be educated too so our first match will be on rules and shit then we will move to practice, and so forth.
I hope that all 9 of them will be able to also make purchases from ASGI or other good sites after this so I plan to compose a list of GOOD and BAD sites for purchase.

I just made a landmine/IED for airsoft. It's a small green container with a button on top. I put it in a ~6 inch hole, and probably put a piece of cardboard (or similar. This is to increase chances of someone stepping on it). Cover it with foliage or dirt, and it's good to go. When stepped on, an alarm goes off.

I tested it and it seemed to work pretty well.

Damnit to hell, every time I do media tags, it shows it as working in 'preview' but then when I post it always breaks.

The mine is completely safe to carry until it has that little plastic thing. I've been juggling it for a few minutes and it hasn't gone off.
Also, that mine was overkill for setting it off. I used a little 1x2" piece of paper folded up and it set it off. Vibrations of walking nearby doesn't seem to do it though.

Heh, planning to remove the "internals" from a clear plastic m4 from walmart (the one I made into a automatic large handgun) and need help with where I should put the internals, what should I do for a body etc...
It needs to be cheap too and would look better and lighter than this plastic shit with lead weights in the pistol grip.

And it pretty in accurate and a breif case is MUCH larger than the weapon currently.

Get a used briefcase from Goodwill or somewhere like that for relatively cheap I would imagine. $20 tops maybe. Garage sales are a good place to check too.

I found out that my little springer shotgun is actually really accurate with .25s, so I was using it like a sniper rifle. To pretty good effect actually.

That would raise a lot of "the fuck?"s from my friends.

Spring shotguns are basically just bolt action rifles in a different shape :v

It's like the Benelli M3 in Rainbow Six vegas.. or the spas 12 in Modern Warfare.. or the Spas 12 in Half Life deathmatch.. wow there are a lot of video games with sniper shotguns.

Bad Company 2. Stick the slug upgrade on that bitch and you have a literal insta-sniper. I got some guys all the way across the map.
