What does everyone have against Alienware. I ended up cheaper (and better) then if I would build it myself...
I did, perhaps The Netherlands is just expensive compared to other countries. Also managed to get a 5% discount on my purchase.
my two "desks"
the server is actually headless, i plug that in if it ever dies, also just a place to put the monitor haha
What are all the wrenches for? Just curious.
not sure really haha, my dad just gets them form work, find them laying around, no one claims them, he takes them, and we have alot more than that , on the wall next to that there area ones like 2 feet long haha
Looks like he made it... Unless you mean the food...
For example lets take a 1000 DOLLAR alienware build. In holland its 1000 EURO, alienware doesn't give a shit if the dollar is worth less.
To be honest i must say that if you bough the parts loose with a normal cheap 30/40 euro case you could have TWO systems with the exact same specs.
Had to photoshop them a bit. Top one is made of a panorama of 12 pictures. Bottom one is a panorama of 3 pictures. Wallpaper changes every 10 seconds. Best cable management ever.
If it were clean with decent cable setup, that setup in its entirety has the potential to be sexy. I say go the effort. to do so, it brings about a much happier experience.
I still want your desk fan.
also I'm thinking about buying one of those unicomp keyboards, how big is it? I want to know if I'm better off getting the spacesaver, I don't have a lot of room on my desk.
About Model M size. It's pretty much the same keyboard.
I know that, but I don't own a model m. Either way, I found the dimensions elsewhere, and it does infact fit on my desk

This is going to sound stupid and pathetic but I had a dream last night that was horrible, it was a very lucid dream where everything was normal, except someone had broken into my home and stole half of my computer setup (like they didn't have enough time to get it all) well, I woke out of that dream feeling the same way I did in the dream, so I'm spending my day photographing all of my equipment, LCD's, keyboards, mice, laptops, xbox's, the works, and photographing the serial numbers on all of my equipment and then create a catalog of the information, then I'm going to print two copies of all the information out, one goes in the wall safe, the other to the insurance adjuster. I figure this is the proper thing to do.
I seriously recommend you guys do this, just imagine waking up/coming home to find your front door wide open and your room/office in shambles with your PC gone and all that is left is a jumble of cables and a ring of dust from where your monitor used to sit.
