We were kind of joking around when we did the 36~ area, we were like "look we can just make this a disaster" but then I decided to make the rest of it serious. After my dentists appointment I'll clean that part up, make it sound pretty.
Also yeah, all the sounds are gunshots except the Piano, Kick, Hat, and little techno thing during the phone call.
Also I want people to be BRUTALLY honest. Because I've already had one person say "dude that blows" I want to make sure it's not just his personal taste conflicting, and that it actually blows.
I was feeling kinda pissed off yesterday so I was just messing around with the piano and recorded this; what do you guys think?
This is by no means a very good song, its just something that happened.
I like what you've tried to do with the gunshots and love the intro/breaks but to be
honest it kind of sounds really brutal and bit of a mess.
Don't think anyone could listen to that and say they could stick it on and just listen to it in their spare time...
Experimenting, man! No one ever got anywhere by sticking to the norm.
But really, my goal is to make that beat listen-able. Any suggestions?
a columbine 911 call and a fuckton of gun samples, its just tasteless. if you want to experiment, stop spamming samples and try putting effort into a sound thats never been achieved before.
i made a song 2
Well... it's time for my leave. Have a good time posting songs and not listening or criticizing. I really tried to help (Everyone except the horrible house musicians. Sorry but it's not creative, it's just following formula :/ ) The only tracks you people seem to comment back on are trolls, which is clearly useless.
Current piece I'm working on. I really like the intro I have on this one, I just need to clean up some of the repetitive parts at some points and clean up some synths. Any CC would be appreciated.
Added some drums, and other minor adjustments.
Sounds preety good. Theres not much to pick on really, but I think your choice in chord changes makes for a dissonant sound rather than a pleasant (I forgot the musical term) one. I don't know, maybe that was what you were going for! It's good to try something diffirent.
Cosmic love remix, should i continue making it?
Hey guys, after hearing from the production community as a whole to try and produce in Ableton rather than FL, I tried something out:
My workflow in FL really helped me out with using advanced shit in Ableton
continued my first try on Ableton's project, I think it sounds fairly OK. I don't plan on making it into a full song, but it's just a test on Ableton and how I can produce on it
sounds like i got punched in the face
which is exactly what you want at a club after a couple.
Holy shit overpain! You have really improved! Get more experimental, but keep the melodies.
I don't know if anyone will like it, I can't tell if it's awful, I need a peripheral opinion.
Also, I don't think anyone saw my post on the last page. I'm working on a song with a friend, and I'm wanting some constructive feedback on it, do you guys mind if you have a listen?
