tell us how.
please? :3:
Windows Dreamscene.
It's not in windows 7? :saddowns:
More useful than videos or GIFs as backgrounds would be something that let you run screensaver-type things as backgrounds. Those generally look better and have more variation than loops.
No, only in Vista Ultimate.
Dreamscene is just a resource hog anyways.
Hate to ask, but where can I get the sweet-ass calendar and clock, as well as the short cuts bar int the First Post?
Actual res: 4800 x900, and I dont like having stuff on my desk![]()
It supposedly is only for Ultimate but I have Home Premium, but I downloaded a fix/patch that allows you to to use Dreamscenes/Videos in Home Premium. (it also works with Win7 Home Premium as I found out)
As for as hogging resources yes it uses more that a wallpaper would but not to the point were it effects anything. Right now I am using a 1080p background and the CPU is idling at 8% (2.1GB/6Gb mem) It doesn't effect game performance since aero turns off when you play a game or something. And if you really need that extra CPU (like when rendering a video) just right click the desktop and hit pause.
EDIT:
I'll go see if I can find the patch and post it if anyone is interested
Ok here is the one I downloaded. The actual patch is small but this download comes with a video that you can test out. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=FXXRJ07T
You can get Dreamscene working in 7, I've done it before but never really found any good videos for it that were 1680x1050
Used to be much cleaner :(
-snip-
Simplistic.

Reposting for the sake of putting some Clint Eastwood ITT.
Other than Clint himself, that wallpaper is fugly.
:buddy:
Shame the spotify thing for rainmeter doesn't exactly work. The buttons do not work properly at least.
I call this my FiMac since it's just my MacBookPro hooked up to my 32" HDTV. So it's sort of like an iMac.
I have a bunch of space wallpapers from www.wallbase.net cycling through too.
Walls change through every 5-10 seconds. Both monitors are in a 16:9 aspect ratio so I can have the source file be the same folder. Sadly I recently lost all my wallpapers in a tragic harddrive failure, but I'm moving on.
May i ask what that lovely device in the bottom left hand corner of your screen is, becuase im in love with it.
Anyone know anyway to make it so your wallpapers change when it's a specific time? I want to make a Day - Night Cycle with my wallpapers and the the Windows 7 Wallpaper Slideshow just changes every set amount of hours.
You can never have enough clocks.
Edit: Forgot about the clock rating. I guess I could use some boxes to store all of these clocks in.

Flaming ban, incoming :cop:
I'm sorry I have a REAL GRUDGE AGAINST MACS, especially since the steam update came out.
