I understand that you guys may be busy with your social lives, although it would help to have a rough idea of when one could expect the next update.

I don't want this thread to die! -_-'
Not to be a jerk, but i have got school work up the ASS, plus family and other social things happening to me up until after the holidays. So ill keep you updated till then.
I damn well want these models done too, i haven't forgot about them.
Out of curiosity, what is the polygon count on Flandre?
Could it be possible to apply lightwarps on these models, to give a more cartoony feel?
I apologize for the bump, but could it be possible to upload what work has been done so far in an OBJ format?
What is OBJ format in? 3DSMax? Milkshape?
OBJ is a relatively universal file format, often understood by most 3d modeling programs.
Additionally, I would like to know if there are any means of contacting Novax.
Try PMing him.
Bump.
Due to the inactivity in this thread, would a new one be in order?
I don't know ask Vaust-kill.
If there is a way to convert MMD (Miku Miku Dance) Models into models for garry's mod, would someone convert http://thedreamdiary.yolasite.com/about-us.php (Urotsuki) and http://sketchymod.yolasite.com/model-downloads.php (Madotsuki)
I would appreciate this beyond belief!
Thanks!
Also, update on the Flandre Model from Maestro Fénix and that him and his team, and the "MMD Touhou models to Source" team are still working hard for it.

I'm sick, so yeah y'all can make a new one if you would like...
I don't know im just having a bad start for the year.
Bump for good measure.
I just get activate my account (yes!), so now i can participate here :3
Good work posting my image, Brief. Thanks.
When i'll finish fixing the model, if the author gives us the permission, the model (and the rest) will be published in Obsidian Conflict (and obviously later here, ready to use as a playermodel).
If everything goes right, i'll make a "tutorial" about how to port MMD models to Source (and when i will learn it, how to port Source models to MMD).
Note: Doesn't matter what team makes release first the models. I send some weeks ago an email to Vaust Kill (Vaust Kill?) and we were agree to work cooperative. The credits for the porting process will be for all the members of both teams.
Sorry if i have some grammar errors. English is not my first language, and sorry too if i just do something wrong refeer to the general rules of Facepunch.
Sorry to hear that, I hope you feel better.
Any chance you could rig these too?

I can't download it and see what is their forma in this moment, so i can't say you if i can.
Also, remember that this thread is of TOUHOU MODELS ONLY (maybe in the future change the name to MMD model request, but that is very far away).
Apart of that, after finish the Touhou models, i have to make some playermodels that have been requested in OC.
P.D: Get better soon, Vaust Kill.
I'm getting better guys, thanks y'all, its just a mild cold, the aches are a pain though.
Now im glad that we are getting help from the Obsidian Conflict team, ive seen the models you put in the game and i like how there's much of a variety to choose from.
Adding the Touhou models from MMD would add a better selection to the mod and GMOD, if the time comes.
Sweet, glad to hear your getting better dude! I can't wait to see some of the work you've done!
All i was doing during the time was porting them in 3DS and adding the textures in the right places, it has to do with a polygon selection tool and choosing the selected polygons and adding the texture you want to that particular selection. Its like the picture i did with Sawako, but i don't know how to port to Source, I'm in dire need of knowledge on how to do that, even since someone else already knows.
Has Novax been busy? If he is then I doubt he'll be able to help us.
You know, ill have to contact him. I have no idea whats Novax's been doing these past few weeks, could be holidays/ after-holidays.
How's about we rip the nico all stars and the keroro gunso pack and the normal vocaloids?
We are ripping the Touhou models from MMD not everything else, if you want the other models make your own request.
Note: Is true that we are from Obsidian Conflict, but we are not their team. We only are normal players that colaborate with the mod in all the aspects.
Is so simple. Make a skeleton (HL2 default skeleton, or another according to the game that you want make to port). Use the "skin" modifier and rig it properly. Make their ragdoll and phymodel and Export (check the "alternate normals export" option), edit the .qc file, compile and ta-chan!, your model is on Source.
If you want know this with more detail follow this tutorial, i learned from it: http://www.facepunch.com/threads/542...-To-Ragdolling
EDIT: Oops i forget say it. The MMD model authors are very jealous with their models, and they, in some cases for illegal use, have been stopped making and release their models. So, if the author of the Touhou models donīt give us the permission to do it (i hope not, it will be fatal for all the Touhou fans in Source), we donīt release the models.
I hope that the rest of the people follow the "orders". i donīt want that the MMD fans go here to protest because we have the fault of "kill these models" on MMD.
Anyway, whether if he/she give us the permission or not, iīll will make a tutorial about porting models from MMD to Source and vice versa.
Ah, and i thought it was a tougher process to port them, im not a good coder after all.
But yeah i think we went over the permission discussion in the beginning of the thread, we will just have to see what happens in the future. This would be the first time anyone would have used the models for other means.
I ripped a Yuuka model once, from San Andreas. It was kinda hard but possible. The ragdoll came out good, but it looks bad as a playermodel/NPC. I decided not to rip anything else though. Ever since then, I still haven't figured out how to fix that. But now I plan on ripping more Touhou models in the future, and I actually had my eye on the MMD models. I then came across this thread, and I see others want the same.
So just to let my fellow Touhou fans know, I'm going to try this as well and give support! Hopefully I can make them into playermodels as well...... or maybe someone else could do it once I rip them? Anyways I've followed this tutorial in the past, in case anyone else is interested in helping.

Thank you for joining us, and we hope to support each other as well.
Good news. Ryosuke, one of the people who used to work with GTA:SA seems to be interested in making Touhou models with Source Engine in mind.
Wow, just think off all this help we get to finally finish this request.
Everyone seems to want these models now.
We have good news:
(note: i donīt know what is the size limit of the photo in FP, so if this image have a high weight or is so big, please sorry)
Yes. Finally i have fixed the textures (i have to investigate why the face is more dark). Still a prototype (default HL2 collision model, no jigglebones, some bugs in legs and arms), but works.
After fixing this model, we continue making more Touhou models (Suika is the next). Once "all" the models are ready, we will release it, with the tutorial.
Okay, and btw Vaust Kill when is the bunny-girl going to be ready?
Nice job Maestro Fenix! It looks great even for a prototype, im sure the face can be fixed too.
Now i just got a message from mariokart64n saying:
Perhaps soon we can use this tool to easily port them to MAX.
And Reisen hasn't been getting much attention from me, i need to get back to fixing her textures.
I'd be glad to return to doing this once again! ^__^ But when it comes to making them into NPCs, I hope someone else can help in that department once we rip them from various things (such as GTA and MMD).
Actually a nice start, would be to fix my Yuuka rip I did a long time ago and make it a proper NPC. If anyone wants to. I can give a link, if someone is interested.
Itīs a new script!!!. I tried the old "PMD script" that is in their "Guide for ragdolling" thread, but the model was imported in 3DS MAX without any materials assigned. Iīll try it.
EDIT: Ok, itīs port the model now with the material assigned, but their UVmaps are broken, so still being useless.
If the UVmaps are broken does that mean the model is pretty much screwed up?
It's available here too: http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=116780
