The opposite for me.
I used to listen to a lot of Slipknot but then I took a change in tone. Now I mostly listen to Renard and his other work. it's refreshing to hear something different for a change.

Can't really say though. There are plenty of people who find him just because of the music, through other musicians. For someone from the fandom I guess it could be a gateway to everything else though.

The first time that I heard one of his songs was after I watched some portal song, "Mayhem- It's Murder" was linked on the side and it sounded like an interesting song though I didn't know what to expect with the thumbnail image. But I liked all of the songs he had so I stuck with it. I think it helps that most of the artwork is really good quality.
Honestly, if people think that just because he is a furry and his artwork is of the genre means that his music is bad are idiots. And if you like his music, you like the music, it doesn't mean that you are automatically a furry or something.

I found out about Renard's really old stuff he sold back in 2008-2009. There's some really good stuff in those old albums I found but I have no clue why he doesn't sell any of them anymore.

some albums got remastered and consolidated into others, this happened to "Sharktits" and some Queenstons stuff. every album back to the first VulpVibe releases is on his site, other stuff check youtube or lapfoxtrax.com/free

His break/speedcore stuff is pretty good, but the rest just seems awfully boring to me.

I like mostly everything from him. Took me a while to get into him at first because at the time I was a full on metal head. Lucky I found him, he helped me to expand onto other genres instead of staying to just one.
