If I recall this correctly, the more upgradeable slots in the gun, so like a DVAH would glow blue/purple while the guns with no upgradeable slots would be orange-yish?

I remember reading a temporary fix posted by some user on the forums for the crashing. I think it was uh.. removing all the decals from your car and taking off both, your graffiti and theme tune.
Sure as hell worked for me, haven't crashed since!

Actually, it's only taking off the graffiti and theme from your char. Decals on the car don't contribute to those crashes. Taking off the graffiti helped me a lot before the last patch, but this patch seemed to have fixed the GPF crashes overall.

I tried to make Zoey (because of course I would do that) but a couple restrictions in the editor prevented me from getting it exact.

Namely head shape and cheekbone positions, both of which are permanently pre-set and cannot be changed.
