The Seinfield scene was awesome.
Haha oh god the censors are hilarious
Anyways...saw this a few days ago...ended up being way better then I expected it to be...although the first 10 to 15 minutes made me almost wanna stop watching it
Oh and the drummer chick was awesome
I watched this again the other night on DVD and man, I cannot get over how fucking awesome the fight scenes in this film are.
My favourite is probably Ramona vs. Roxy , all the flips and mad dodges that goes on, and there's no god damn pointless shaky cam like in so many other movie fight scenes.
The final swordfight between Scott and Gideon comes a very close second.
lol superdinoman rating all my posts dumb, i'm sorry if I disagree with you about universal healthcare but honestly this is childish
I always get goosebumps when Todd first shows his psychic powers and lifts Scott up, the music is awesome
This song is awesome.
So, why wouldn't they just show the movie at a A14 rating? All they'd have to sensor would be Cock and shit (On Western stations.)
Rented the HD copy from the Playstation store the other night. I have no idea why I never went to see this at the cinema, now.
ahaha, oh god that censoring video
The Todd part
"That's it! You Oscar Grouch!"
The Soundtrack is SO AWESOME.
Wow you wouldn't know.
Does anyone know whether the dvd and blu-ray sales will contribute to the final Gross of the film, otherwise it is stuck at making a loss, and im sure we are all disappointed by this...
On a side note for those who dont know Scott Pilgrim got rated number 6 greatest film of 2010
Also achieved best scene with the bass battle of 2010
I'm obsessed with this movie and comics, Ever since I started reading it.
<--- Goldie Avatar
As it's Edgar Wright, there had to be a load of features like that :D
I fucking hate Michael Cera so fucking fuck fuck fucking much. He has that face that says "I'm quiet, shy, socially-awkward, and hella boring. But I still have more friends than you, and I can get any girl I want"
I need to shoot him.
So I've started drawing the cover of the DVD in the style of the comic books. Does that make me a fan, a geek, or both?
was it necessary to quote the whole OP?
Spent about three / four hours drawing. I feel so cool right now.
Do show when you're done
The only thing in the movie that made me kept watching was Mary Elizabeth Winstead.
I dunno if it has been said, but my favourite song in the whole movie:
WHY CAN'T I STOP LISTENING?
Because it's an awesome song.
Over the weekend, I read the books. I must admit, the books are a LOT better than the movie, but the movie is still fucking amazing. I don't like how the movie cut out many things (which I understand isn't avoidable), but I think they should've emphasized some more of the key things, like Knives's creepiness after you know what happens. I also wish they kept the heart hilt on the Power of Love sword. :< Other than that, it was very good. I think Michael Cera nailed the awkwardness of Scott, but that's about it. He didn't have some of the cockiness that Scott held in the books. He just didn't seem right for the part during the fights. Also I love the whole puck-man thing.
I rewatched the movie and I can't stop listening to this song the Clash at Demonhead played. Even though there is a real version sung by Metric, the Clash at Demonhead version sounds so much better.
I'd petition Edgar and Co for some bonus songs to be released on itunes at least, or something similar for fans.
Overrated teen film.
"The band re-recorded the song for the film, as Wright requested a slightly more "sinister" opening. The song now has an extended intro, with Larson on vocals offering a few 'oh yeah's," used in the film to taunt Scott and Ramona in the audience."
I take that as the band did the whole song again, while the actress just did the "oh yeah" stuff.
However, it is still one of my new favourite films.
I think you misread that as Larson only saying the oh yeahs when it actuality it's saying she is sining the vocals in the song and they added the oh yeah's to taunt them. They really should have added a comma after vocals
What's with all the dumbs, I thought this was a pretty good movie.
