After seeing that AK it got me wondering has there ever been a telescopic stock made for the AK and I don't mean one of those AR stock converters.
I can vagley remember seeing an AK with a telescopic stock but it wasn't off an AR.

I want one personally, but I hate spending $20 on a tiny tiny piece of plastic. They're extremely helpful, albeit ugly, when you hold normal VFGs with a sort of diagonal grip (same as the Magpul guy instructs).

I think I can safely say this analogy now. The amount of fandom for AK's is comparable to the amount of fandom for MW2.

eotech = ok because its real steel and you want the best you can get in a combat situation

This is literally the only place that I see any airsoft AK love at all. Unless you accidentally put a "K" where you meant to put an "R", in which case, you just described about 3/4 of the entire world airsoft community.

Around here though, comparing something to MW2 is like generally looked at as a negative comparison.

Is a thing for training. It has a mic on it that detects the sound of a blank being fired and then projects a laser at your target. Basically high tech laser tag.

You mean a MILES type system? That probably wouldn't be taped to the barrel...

If we think about it we've all seen tacticool AKs far worse than it. To be honest I think I'd get one if some one was released.

Agreed. I think the Beryl looks pretty damn cool.
I shouldn't present my opinion on anything tacticool though...I have a thing for SCARs.

The Beryl is the only good tacticool AK. If you consider that it's the service rifle of a NATO military and fires 5.56 it's not that bad that it's tacticool because it's not a true AK in my opinion.

Now that I think about it a Beryl wouldn't be too hard to make since it's pretty much a AK 74su, black handguard with rails at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock postions, skeletal stock, and an rail for mounting optics.
Also eye bleach at the ready ladies and gentlemen!

It is unique, I'll give it that...not saying I'd carry it though.
