I think he was basing it off World at War.
I think he was basing it off World at War.
I think the kid he's talking about was doing that gay "over 9000!" thing. Idiots seem to love saying that in the real world.
Yup. This was through Facebook chat by the way.
In World at War the Garand killed in two shots and one for a headshot. I don't know what he's talking about
The only bad thing about it was it's ROF.
But compared to the other rifles of the period, it had the best rate of fire.
I meant in W@W. IRL, it's an awesome rifle, and I've always liked it, I want to get a real steel version, or an Airsoft one eventually.
The most idiotic moments I had were in the customs. Last time I ordered a gearbox and the customs investigator thought it was a PISTOL. That man already caused me a lot trouble so kinda lost control and I called him on the phone, -I don't remember well- I think I yelled at him. He didn't know what to do and made me an appointment. After I talked to him I went to the post office to take the parcel. Other officer there opened the package and tried to secretly (dude was doing this in front of me) re-investigate the GEARBOX and said "I don't think it is...(you know what)" to the customs officer on the phone...
I think this thread was more for idiots who play airsoft.
"blowback is bad because it will tear up your wiring"
What.
What? Where did that come from?
some kid, he actually thinks that a designer would put wiring in the way of the blowback system
If it's an AK variant using a stick battery on top of the gearbox along with a blowback mechanism, I can see it happening.
And yes, some company is stupid enough to do it.

well damn :monocle:
Shit, I hope that doesn't happen with the G&G RK95.
This is how a normal conversation goes over with most of the kids that play at my field:
Kid: Hey, how much FPS is your gun?
Me: About 350ish, I guess.
Kid: Oh... mine is 750 FPS.
That's when you promptly go "No.".
I bet that kid sucks at airsoft though.
It's all the recoil.
I would laugh in his face.
So you guys dont have FPS limits or anything? Or even an on-field chrono?
Posted this in the airsoft loadouts section, but these fails need to be posted here.
Stupid people can't tell the difference from camo and solid colors.
I can imagine there being some mixups, but that's just silly
I'm still unsure of how you can mistake a PCU for camo.
My friend said the kid who thought PCU was camo may have been the same asshole who pushed him after the idiot kid claimed he tossed a thunder B grenade by him. My friend said he didn't see any grenade and asked to see it, but the kid was being a bitch. That, plus thunder b's only count for inside of rooms, and my friend was outside behind a car.
Im glad I dont live in Cali, you guys seem to have a lot the "bro" type ex-paintballers. That would drive me nuts.
Yeah we do, sucks at times. But the majority of the time there's more hardcore airsofters than ex-paintballers with attitudes.
Oh, bro you didn't!![]()
I have the opposite where I play. Mostly all hardcore milsim players (sometimes too hardcore for me) and alot of CF and ex-CF which is cool.
SoCal seems to get that problem more. Tac City is like the devil's asshole of ex-paintballers who think they're hot shit.
I hope I never have to play with paintball retards. That sounds like it would suck.
Luckily though the ex paintball retards are normally kids or teenagers still using their old paintball gear and rental M4s. I show them how it's done when I spot them with the laser, strobe them, and hose em with tracers. Or more simply with an up close pistol kill.
Tac City does look like a pretty bad place. I mean full auto just looks overkill in that tiny little place, especially with those bullet hoses. I don't think I could get used to it, so used to using my pistol at those close ranges.
You've got no idea man. Full-auto is a problem simply for the fact that we always have people who shoot within the safety range of ten feet and plenty of hurting's been generated by new kids and assholes who think they're hardcore. I think I'm one of the last people who actually bothers to use sights anymore - most everyone who plays just forgets aiming and shoots paintball stance with their eye level the same as the barrel and walk their BB's onto the other team. This is really problematic because the field tech plays this way and just runs around with his gun pointed around corners; cause he works there, the refs don't pay him any mind and he goes about his business.
If you really want to play an honest game there, go Wednesday nights for pistol night. I think that's the only time you can really play airsoft, not speedsoft.
I get serious nerves during games. It's hard for me to just focus and use my damn sights. My gun's accuracy couldn't be worse either.
Do you at least shoulder it? These guys literally hold their guns with the buttstock on their shoulders, if they even have one at all.
Sounds like you had one shit day. I've been airsofting for about a year and I've yet to encounter any f%*ktards like those lot (and I hope I never do).
Of course I shoulder it, my gun isn't heavy. I just don't look down the sights. I got myself a red dot recently so things can only improve.
Speaking of which, remember when MilSimJunkie was shooting video of you using the FPG a couple months back? I remember in that same exact video, there were "airsofters" who were using that double trigger firing technique that only ever really works in paintball. I facepalmed. And so did a couple other people in the comments.
Dear lord I see them also *facepalm*
Believe it or not the entire day itself was better than normal. Those were only the stupid moments I caught that day.
My worst day there was when we were spawn camped 2 games in a row and the other team wouldn't call their hits despite 10 of us rushing out at the same time lighting them up. I left for home early that day after that bullshit.
Yeah I hate people who do that. It's completely unrealistic, bad enough already they're allowed to use those MP5Ks inside the buildings. The only gun I ever tried that method successfully on was a P90, only because it felt more comfortable than using my trigger finger.
all of the guys that go with me paintballing play airsoft albeit as beginners, but its all good because we play a lot of woodsball which isnt far off from airsoft, i guess
