I got banned from a build server for building a full suspension, engine powered car. With the ban reason being, "y u hak n spawn othr ppls stff" It took me 3 hours to decode the ban message.

Well this is an interesting, "Why the fuck is GMod filled with tards?" ban story.
I was flying around in this aircraft, and really not doing much other then just flying around. All a sudden out of nowhere the server started to experience lag. At first it felt like an a server attack, but when I looked down it was just some idiot spawning a really weld/hydraulic happy contraption. I called out the server owner and said, "Hey dude some idiot is spawning a laggy contraption down there." at first he removed it and I continued to fly around.
Lag hit again. This time it was some guy spamming explosives. The owner started rageing, and removed every contraption on the server, and exclaimed that he can only build stuff. At first I was like... Alright. Didn't spawn anything till about five minutes later[others spawned some crappy airboat cars] so I respawned the plane.
No lag. Then someone began spamming explosives again, and the first thing to happen was my plane was frozen, and I asked, "Hey whats going on?" the response was such a beautiful and majestic warmi- oh wait... It was an idiot owner who decided that clearly the plane I was flying was causing the lag even though it has little to none footprints on servers. He removed the plane, and stated, "DONT FLY YOUR JET AROUND" I respond.. Kay, and goto work on something else. The next thing that happens is I see someone else flying around a plane, and I said screw it, and decided to fly around and mock-fight the person.
I got banned for a week for "lagg"
... What the fuck.

I've got a good one.
I was recently playing on a War RP server. The basics is that you build forts and defend them with various NPCs given to you. I was on fairly early in the morning, building up my fort. I was the only one online a the time. The server owner logged in and we exchanged formal "hellos". We both decided to build up forts next to an underground tunnel and link our forts together, thus creating a force to be reckoned with. NPCs were controlled via spawned nodes, where the NPCs would follow along the path.
Once we finished, people started joining. a good 10 or so group, all with the same clan name, =JACKS=. They were rather rude people, joining the server not with a hello, but with a "sup bitchs we gon cik al ur asss". Despite this, we just said Hello, and welcomed them to the server. They continued their verbal abuse, but me and the owner kept shrugging it off. They built their forts, attacked, defended. Forts were burnt down, others were fortified the strength of freaking Guantanamo Bay. We defended fairly well until the owner had to go afk for a bit. I kept the fort safe in the time being, but I was killed. By the Server owner.
Apparently, his 12-year-old cousin had taken over for him and didn't recognize that we were partners. I explained to him that we are working together. However, being the stereotypical 12 year old he is, he merely replied with "Shut up noob ur I ban yor ass." I co-operated, not wanting to be banned. I fortified the tunnel entrance with a simple bunker and MG. He repeatedly attempted to break through, all of said attempts ending in failure. He finally started abusing the powers of an owner. No-clip is supposed to be prohibited to your fort only, but he went through the wall and attempted an assassination on me. Instead, I saw him trying to get through the wall, and turned around and killed him.
With all the panic came the owners diverted attention. The other players torched his base and stole his supplies (ammo and weapons). The owner got back and, not telling me he was replacing his cousin, attempted to get to my side. I instantly shot him down. What a mistake. He saw his crumbling fort, his missing supplies, and the fact that I barricaded the tunnel entrance, made it look like I raided his base. You can pretty much guess where this is heading.
Banned.

Which is why I say that an Admin should never ban without getting more information first.

Joined a build server and the lone admin was complaining rather incessantly about how he couldn't get Space-build goodies because Tortoise SVN was "stupid as fucking shit" and was generally raging about.
I referred him to Glua.net and got banned with the reason "YOU FUCKING IDIT I CANT GET SVN TO WORK"

Because, believe it or not, people don't join Gmod servers to see cows getting slaughtered, as fucking anyone can figure out. Don't shove your beliefs into people's faces and then bitch about it when they don't put up with your bullshit okay?

Happened to me once, everyone started insulting the admin and he banned them too, got him removed as admin so it worked out in the end.

I do speak a little german, and they decided to ban me.. just because I wasn't actually german, I understood enough to tell that they were deciding whether or not to ban be for the fun of it.

The most stupid reason i was banned: for getting pissed off at the admin who killed me (with an adming gun that made him invincible, and he was using that for the whole time) just because i started attacking him with the crowbar (wouldn't make a difference since he was invincible) and he killed me, that was a normal reaction, but when i respawned, he killed me againg, and did that continuously until i got pissed off and started to discuss with him that he was an abusive admin, well, in the end i got banned for a week and he closed the server.
sorry for the bump, but this chart misses one thing: in Brasil they make a marshmallow-like candy with the cow's hooves, it's really good. (how do i know that? i AM from Brasil)

some kid admin has changed himself into a rollermine and he kept running into people and killing them, including me. I managed to grab the rollermine with my gravity gun and put him in a nearby trash. He said "fucking faggot minge" and banned me. It was a DarkRP server.

I have a pretty good one.
One day I was playing on a DarkRP server (This was before I knew about real RP) and there was a class called Headcrab. I took it and I became a headcrab. I created a little box for myself and put a sign there saying "Help Me". I was roleplaying as a baby headcrab then. So anyways, everyone rejected me and all that crap untill some rebels adopted me.
I eventually grew up and then Civil Protection raided the base. I killed all the Civil Protection (Can you see where this is going?). They raided the base again, trying to kill me. I pointed out about NLR (Which was a rule on the server) and they just kept coming. Finally, I guess one of the Admins was pissed and banned me....
Reason: Being a Pet Headcrab

is what I did after that happened because that was my favorite server at the time. Luckily it was only a months ban, in which I had gone on to greener pastures.

Ok, I deserved this, but it's worth telling. I was on GM_Bigcity, for awhile on a server with few addons. (It was kind of nice). I remember I made this fort a few months back, so I upload it with adv dupe, and spawn it. All goes well, people are syaing "Nice fort", when this guy asks if he can dupe it. I let him (I like to share), and he instantly says "YOU STOLE MY FORT" We get in an argument where I prove it's mine, but he won't listen. he says, "I make a ton of forts, and this is one." He goes on to spawn one he actually made, that was a bleak, black phx box with uneven plates, and no inspiration. Mine used phx plates, but I made the materials different, made a nice lounge, and put some soul into it. The ENTIRE server starts yelling at me, so I go batshit. I spam explosives from the skybox, build things there, micspam, destroy things, make up bullshit about a test for mingery, RDMing, and more. I continue like this for an hour, with no admins. Someone goes on the forums and complains, and says I will be banned tomorrow. He goes on to say he's going to fry my computer (lolnope), and when I call bullshit, says "Ask (A username that tried to join 30 min ago), OH WAIT. You cant. I broke his computer. I almost die laughing, and disconnect.

I think the most retarded reason to get banned was that I wanted someone banned, put my steamID in the ban request, and I got banned for a very long time instead.
