i had been on the server for a few weeks. God, and it was such a fun server too.
avoid NNJG at ALL costs. they lure you in with fun gameplay and awesome addons then BAM. no more for you

My friends and I were running a bank on an RP server, and some guy placed forty grand for us to hold. An admin raided our bank and took the player's forty grand, and when the player found out that we lost his money, he complained to the same exact admin who robbed his money. I would have expected that player to be banned, but then after my friend said, "Dude that's the guy who stole your money," the admin banned us instead with the reason:
"I decided to give him his money."

this was back when i was playing gmod on my brothers account because i didn't have my own. he only plays css. i played on a server for a couple of days and i became "friends" with an admin. he added me to his friends list and a few seconds later i got banned.
"YOU HAVE PLAY TOO MANY CSS HOURS KIDD!!!" was the reason.
quite stupid in my opinion.

Both of those are valid reasons to be banned.
I'm perma-banned from all YAS OC servers because of a "Hacking Attempt" (basically the same thing you did - cept I wasn't admin)

Most Stupid Reason: Join a DarkRP for some fun, haven't played in a while. Server is in dismay, everyone dying, get voted 2nd cop out of around 30 people. (Paid) Admins spawn weapons then raid the police station, no RP whatsoever, just run and gun. Ask the admins why we can't even spawn for a minute without getting mowed down, get the answer, "Deal with it." Ask again after we die a dozen more times, says he paid for it, get banned for "stfu whiny bitch".

I introduced my friend to the stranded gamemode. We found a nice, empty server and spent 3-4 hours straight making a wooden house. We stocked up on water, pets, food, rocks, wood, ores, tools, furniture, we had it made. 4 or so guys all come in at the same time, demand we give up our entire colony to them. To mess around a bit in a WWII RP server (I was interested -_-) I got in a Zero fighter, and said "KAMAKAZI!!!" in chat and got kicked for "Beeing ah weeaboo fagget tht suks at Gayrrez-Mod". That's a legitimate reason to be banned if you were on a serious roleplay server. Also, if you were considering "roleplaying normally" shooting people and screaming RDM, then you weren't roleplaying at all, you were simply deathmatching. On the other hand, if you were playing DarkDM when you were banned, disregard my last few statements as DarkDM is never serious.
Edit: Whoever rated me dumb needs quit rating it lol. Never once was I being dumb.

i sold a deagle to a hobo, he picked it up and it wasnt in his inventory. so this other guy got all personal, called an admin kept yelling at me, i was like "its just a glitch, calm down", and i told the hobo, if he wants a deagle, pay me again, cuz im not buy you one for free. then i got permabanned for "not selling"

Kicked from a test sever warning the administrator not to drop a 3063 prop parented cube into the water. (fucking crazy prop limit of 4000)
Came back, sever nearly crashed, and the administrator PBanned me for "DDOS ASSHOLE!!!!" His sever crashed a minute later. With 5 people on it.
There is a good reason I only play in Toshkent.

Banned from Stranded server two days ago for asking why I couldn't dig a hole and build an underground house.
Banned from DarkRP server two days ago for asking why the admin sounded like a little girl on helium.
Banned from a different DarkRP server three days ago for asking why the admin wasn't in school.
Banned from DeathRun server for getting above the map and singing the Ducktales theme song whenever the admin asked me a question.
Banned from another HL2RP server last week for beating a cop to death and killing the CA with his pistol.
I'll be sure to post more whenever I go into new servers and get banned for stupid shit.
