Yay! I'm very happy to hear that. But was it your vip key that got invited or was it a non-vip invite? Bec I have a normal but my vip is not invited hah.

Since everyone on their damn forum said different things. I sent an email to Zann just to be sure.
"Yeah, if you just had one of the normal keys and got invited to this week's event, adding the VIP key will get you invited to the next events. :)"

I'm considering The Guardians but I pretty much always play the 'good guys' in these games... so I'm not sure.

Both had very cool races. But yea its the same here, I normally only play the "good" guys.
Kelari - Mage - Pyromancer and Mathosian - Rouge - Assassin/Blade Dancer. Something like that.
And about the that smiley (rolleye), I never meant "Sigh don't you know you idiot", I picked the wrong smiley.

Me and SweFox played this for a while got to level 8 and then we got stuck because we had to kill a ton of mobs everyone else was killing already.
We did three rifts too, but those were pretty pointless because there were like 60 other players.

Got in the beta, but I can't install the client. Get an error during installation.

This is the most fun I've had in an MMO in a while (in a starting zone, anyways). I'm really, really impressed with this. Everything was so simple and easy to learn and it just felt so... right. I don't know how to explain it.

Played it for a couple of hours, it's quite fun.
feels like wow+aion+war combined, doesn't really bring anything new.
It's not bad though but probably nothing I would sub to.

[INDENT] Hey,
I had the same error under Windows 7 32 bit and I just "fixed" it.
What I did was right click the file and "run as administrator", also I installed for all users instead of just me and it installed without the error this time.
Hope this fixes it for you as well!

Well, this atleast gives you a higher chance of getting in on beta weekends.

Getting more than one key is unnecessary though, unless your second one is a ViP key.
Also for everyone in the beta: if you go to your game folder and find the rift.cfg, turn ambient occlusion to 'False' the game will run a lot smoother, and my FPS increased with 15 as well.
You hardly even notice it ingame, it's worth trying out.

Didn't work for me :frown:. Everyone is complaining about the FPS right now. For most people, no matter what settings you have the game on, you still get the same FPS. This is also the same for me. I'm on a machine that can run Crysis on max with ~40 fps and yet I can't run this game with higher than 20 FPS on lowest. That is really the only complaint I have about the game but I'm sure they'll fix it.
