Pressing the minus button on the numeric keyboard helps when playing alone for me atleast.
This game is awesome. Playing through tons of dungeons with a friend of mine who plays Lann while I'm Fiona. Too bad I don't really need to tank stuff but it's still fun as heck. Could be a bit more difficult. How is the difficulty compared to the low-levels to I.E 20 and above?

I'd play with the HUD off all the time if that didn't mean I was forced to miss out on obese spoils of war.

Why are there so many players wearing brown robes at the starting town?

It's a connection related thing. When you're in town, it like loads the other players armors and such. There's an option to make it all the same (robes), helmet only, or complete armor.

It's so bloody easy, it's no fun. I'm litterally fighting other players on who gets to kill the mob the fastest. That is, if I'm not experiencing horrendous client lag because the hoster's internet is shit.

So far this seems like a decent game to play waiting for GW2.

I'm totally okay with grinding in games that have action-packed combat; as long as it isn't click-once-to-kill, we call that "replay value."

Completing a lot of quests usually helps fight that grindiness. I would go after subquests whenever they appear.
I did however notice a "stuck moment" at level 39 where I lacked any quests to go after except equipment quests (which aren't worth much and cost a lot of money or time otherwise)

MMOs usually always have grinds.. it's just that.

Are you playing in Hard mode? Hero mode?
If even then it's still easy, play solo.

Dye system is retarded though.

Lots of MMOs depend on random things.
They let you buy paint (NX) which lets you choose 3 colors.. which then you dye and randomly get one of the 3 colors you chose.
Also, enchanting and stuff things can break.
Free MMOs have to have some gamble to urge players to spend money in the game.

yeah it makes me sad nexon is in charge of this. i'd rather ArenaNet but eh, i'll take what i can get. i just hope by god that they add more free colours, hairstyles and after the beta because its like trying to customize a rock right now.

The boss death slow-mo/freezeframes are SO fucking cool.
Even better when you have clobbered/kicked/projectiled it to death with nothing but feet, pots and bits of old tent.

help i just completed a mission solo but after i killed the boss nothing happened :(

what is with these motherfucking droprates. theres a boss in this icy area that needs you to find a copper ore during the run and i cant find one. yes i throw mining bombs at the 2 locations, by the pot and by the boss area.
i keep finding iron ore

every time i win a hard thing its like "OH YOU WANT A REWARD? FUCK YOU" and then i cant do anything except run around in circles in the boss room. really fun

nice job of actually googling the issue. i even fucking told a temporary solution at the top of the page. press the fucking minus button on the numeric keyboard 3 times and you can return to town or replay dungeon. forfeit battle works too. none of that shit makes you lose items, exp or whatever.

This game isn't really crazy on talking.. it doesn't require that much teamwork and I'm sure most people who play are little kids without mics.
I tried striking conversations once. Nothing happened.
