I'm actually sort of surprised you're saying this. Again, consistency in an interface is a good thing. Adhering to good useability principles and not breaking consistency is more important than an interface getting 'boring'.

My contract is up for renewal on Sunday thank god. Getting an Omnia 7, the HD7 is nice but would much rather have the S-AMOLED after temporarily having one then going back to not having one, I miss it too much. Spent the last few hours sorting out my Zune library, neatening it up getting ready to sync it!
Been looking through apps, practically everything I use is there so I am very happy.

damn the UI does look nice. Shame these are so ungodly expensive to me, I would love to replace my aging, crashing 3g with one of these, the HD7 does look very nice. But I can't afford anything like that.

I partially retract that statement. £380 for the HD7 on pay & Go is not bad at all. Still can't afford it mind you

YAY! Placed my upgrade order today. There is practically no stock around for the Omnia 7 at the moment, they all had to be sent back to Samsung as the barcodes on the boxes were incorrect and couldn't be input into the system :\.
But there should be new stock arriving this week, and it will get sent out to me! Woo! Would anyone be interested in a mini review?

I wish Microsoft would work on a full blown Zune client for Mac, I despise Itunes even if it is- a good bit better than the version I used a few years ago. I really don't want to trade my Zune HD for an Ipod touch, such a downgrade as I love music and don't care much for apps. Spotify app only does 160kbps, terrible in my audiophile opinion.
How are you new WP7 owners finding the Zune software? a charm I'm guessing?

uh oh I think I'm suffering from the reboot bug thing, a couple times now the phone has been switched off when I go to look at it, so HTC lied about that then.

I'm thinking of returning my HD7 and getting a Omnia 7 instead. I've got the reset bug and the hard buttons on the HD7 are so bloody annoying. I've still got 5 days to return it and get a full refund, I might see if I can take a look at a Omnia 7 IRL and maybe swap.

I also found out the Omnia has built in NAND memory rather than just sticking a SD card in like HTC andd apparenty it loads apps and games around 3X faster! Loosing 8GB but gaining a faster better looking and better screened device is worth the trade off me thinks.

Too bad there's no support for sockets in third party applications, that keyboard looks like it would be perfect for SSH or IRC.

After I returned my HD7 I walked in the 3 store opposite on the off chance and they had 1 left
The guy in the store said the demand has been crazy, they get people going in all the time asking if they have any.
As I was signing my new contract some Chinese dude came in as asked if they had any Omnia 7's left after I bought the last one, and I was all like :smug:
